Tonight was our first time there and even though there were some hiccups it was a beautiful, relaxing night. It took a bit longer than desirable to get our service started and after having placed drink orders we waited to long to A-get drink and B-To even be able to place our appetizers order. Once we got served it seemed to flow perfectly, and the appetizers were phenomenal!!! The steaks my daughter and I ordered were over cooked but the manager promptly fixed it by cooking us new steaks himself! Now that's service. He even took them off our bill which was generous. However, just to assure him we appreciate his promptness we tipped our server $20. It wasn't about the money, it was about getting what you think you're paying for! Job well done Chesapeake staff. Thank you!! We will be back the next time I'm in town�
I've been here half a dozen times , nice for special occasions if you like seafood or steak. 1st make a reservation, 2nd relax , 3rd eat up. Good crab legs , good drinks , wine list needs updated a bit. and our servers are always above and beyond attentive. Thanks for another special date night , and food that is closer to the sea taste than you normally get in central Illinois. �
Great evening dining experience for the whole family. Very nice building, with a very nice decor inside, with some cool sea and shipping items. The food is warm and very tasty, with options like chicken and other fare other than just their very good seafood. The staff is very polite, courteous and attentive. Conveniently located, with plenty of parking. Nice dining experience!
A return visit, and as always, delicious.
Went earlier than the dinner hour, so had no wait to be seated. But by the time we left, it was busy. I'd suggest reservations if going after 5 or 6 pm.
Anything I've ever had here is excellent and we'll worth the price.
The server was attentive and knowledgeable.
Dessert looked attractive, but I was too full to consider it.
I'll return here at every opportunity, and highly recommend.

Joined Friends and Family for Valentine's dinner. They had reservations but we still anticipated they'd be very busy and there would be a bit of a wait to be seated. We were half right - busy? Oh yes! But we were taken to our table right away.
Our server was amazing. Even kept hopping by the numerous tables she was responsible for, she always had a smile and stayed on top of drink refills and other requests. The food was delicious, as always. I had the 7oz sirloin with scampi-style shrimp special, and tried the Kiss Martini. All was perfect!
Met 4 of my sisters there for dinner. Had never been there before, but I'd love to go back! Everything was fantastic! Salads were served in a chilled bowl and were fresh and crispy. Entrees were piping hot and delicious. Beautiful interior and our server was super friendly and did a great job. We will definitely go there again.
Great customer service and food is absolutely delicious literally everything I had was good. I got the chicken Alfredo add shrimp and some type of stuffed shrimp appetizer was sooo Good’s even the bread was really good. Will be back again
Chesapeake never disappoints! The food is always delicious. I do wish they offered different featured fish selections such and grouper or tuna steak. Service is outstanding. Our server Tanya was great. She recommended the blackend bourbon salmon which was delicious. She was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed her conversation. She even took a great group picture of us. They even offer the best birthday dessert. We come every chance we get.
We had a wonderful Saturday night dinner at Chesapeake Seafood Restaurant. We had a few drinks in the bar while waiting for our table. The ambience was nice...low lighting, white linens on tables, and the perfect place for date night. We all ordered seafood and everything was delicious! We will definitely go back!
