Pho Be Asian Kitchen

My husband and I order pho and other dishes here regularly. I love their chicken pho and also their General Tso’s chicken. The staff is friendly and attentive for dining in, and the food is promptly prepared for take out as well. Whether ordering takeout or dining in, the portion sizes are generous and filling.

Family owned Vietnamese restaurant segment. Convenient location near the freeway. Walk into a modern, recently remodeled decor. Great service. Authentic menu. The pho had a proper soup stock. Good meat and overall portions. Proper flavor profile. The butter peppered wings started with two drumettes and two full wings, battered and fresh fried, then topped with garlic and peppers sauteed in butter. Excellent flavor profile and textures. A well earned 5 stars in a highly competitive segment.

We do take out here mostly. One thing you should know is they do not honor their stated closing time. Several times we would pull up to find the door locked 15 minutes before their stated closing time. They're inside, see you, and ignore you. Seriously??? We like their spring rolls which are good. Only once, recently did we receive an order that was bad. The rice paper was dry, stiff, as though it was sitting out for hours. All the other times the spring rolls were excellent. There was a bit of inconsistentency in our last order, see pic. Otherwise, the ingredients are very fresh inside the roll. We will continue to use take out, but seriously, stay open as long as you state or set a closing time that you will honor.

In the past I have had a few negative experiences with trying out Asian food, especially soups. I decided to give Pho Be Asian Kitchen a try since I drive past it every day on my commute. It wasn't very crowded, and the staff were extremely friendly and to the point. I ordered a shrimp and noodle soup, not really knowing what to expect, but having faith that a delicious Asian soup is waiting out there for me to discover it. And I was correct! The shrimp soup was exquisite! Everything was in perfect balance. The broth itself was was absolutely delicious- good enough to literally drink with a straw. And it was very affordable, too! I can't wait to go back and try out more dishes.

First time here. Looks and smells clean. Greeter and servers are polite, checked on my table frequently for drinks. I ordered the chicken wonton soup without onion. Order came out as I ordered it. It was great tasting and plentiful in dumplings and chicken. I would of given a 5, although, the soup was not hot (lukewarm) enough to cook the bean sprouts. Will definitely come back again and try more items.

Travel a lot and little bit picky in eating. The vermicelli is very good. The meatball soup is great. One of the fast service I ever visited. The ambience is outstanding. However the music ruins the atmosphere. Staff attitude needs to be improved. The guy got my order acted like I am not affordable for a meal here.
