Absolutely amazing Indian fare tucked away in downtown Spokane. I came in (solo) on a Sunday at noon and was immediately seated and able to order. Staff was hustling something crazy to take care of everyone in a timely manner - major kudos to them. The setting is a little blah but the food is absolutely awesome. I enjoyed some samosas and a lamb vindaloo (3 of 5 on spice level). Everything was hot and fresh and just really tasty. You can tell that they’re putting love into the dishes along with authentic ingredients. Overall, big win. ** I will note that recent photos of the menu do not reflect prices changes. Everything’s been bumped a couple dollars, likely to reflect increasing costs.

Great feast at the Mango Tree, mango rice, coconut rice, original basmati white rice, chicken korma, butter chicken, dahl and vegetable pakoras. Oh and let's not forget the wonderful garlic Naan!

I went to lunch for mango tree for my birthday and the customer service was amazing! The bartender quickly learned how to make my drink I wanted and did a fabulous job! The waitress was nice and friendly and didn’t overdue orders. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious. The only issue is the food was Luke warm and I like my food pretty hot because I am a slow eater. Also I got extremely sick after eating their and threw up all night. I don’t know how they prepare the rice, but I really enjoyed the experience, just scared to eat there again.

Before I post why I’m only giving this restaurant two stars, I will say that it is not because of the food and our server. Both were VERY GOOD. What irritated me was the host. My Supervisor and I came in and I gave him my name. While he takes it and tells me there’s a fifteen minute wait, my supervisor goes toward the bar to see if there was room. We’re told we can’t seat ourselves there. Okay, fine. Another co-worker comes in with her parents about 7 minutes or so after us. They were seated. Our co-worker noticed what happened, came back to get us, and asked us to join her. So, we did. Meanwhile, the host said nothing—no acknowledgement whatsoever AND not to mention, I witnessed a couple come in, said something to a woman working at the bar, and they sat right down, ordered wine, and looked at menus. Go figure. Now, I don’t want to pull a certain “card out of my pocket,” however, let’s just say that my Supervisor and I didn’t look like everyone else in the restaurant. Based on that, I feel we were treated differently. If that is not the case, perhaps he should have said something to us when we all clocked, including our co-worker and her parents, that he completely skipped over us. As a person who travels often and a lover of good food, let me be CLEAR: SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE can and will ruin a person’s dining experience and a restaurant’s reputation. DO BETTER.

The food here is absolutely amazing! I recommend the spinach dip as an appetizer because it’s probably the best spinach dip I’ve ever had in my life. And don’t even get me started on the naan. Definitely coming back. Our server was Miriam and she was lovely ❤️

Yesterday morning while headed to an appointment downtown, I came across a young man outside of the Mango Tree. He said his name was Joe, & suggested I try out this restaurant he worked at. Well, I found some time today to go & see if the food was as good as Joe led me to believe, let me tell you; the food was "AWESOME" & I plan to not only tell my friends about this place, I plan to return here myself. Thanks to that young man, I have another favorite restaurant to visit.

Literally the BEST thing I've had in a while. Staff was also really awesome and interactive. Food was so freaking good and it was just absolutely wonderful. I had the mango curry, BEST curry I've had and I loved it. I also love the set-up and over all cleanliness and aesthetics of the restaurant. I could talk about the food for a while. Also the Indian Fries, GET THEM. They are just sooooooo good. The sauce is AMAZING!!! And the Naan Breads. Absolutely wonderful. Best experience I've had in a long time. <3.

Amazing and authentic food. Super friendly staff and the food was prepared quickly as well. Only issue can sometimes be the parking. So just be aware of that if walking may be an issue for you. Other than that, great place to eat!
