If only I could have resisted the urge to devour my cinnamon roll french toast for long enough to take a picture. Trust me, it's that good. Anything you order at this place will give you the same warm and fuzzy feeling of comfort. Everything is delicious. The coffee is great. The service is wonderful. The owners are so kind, and genuinely care about their customers. It's a classic small town diner, and I'll never stop recommending it. When you get there get right in line, because there will be one and it's worth the wait.
🤩 WOW!… Simply just WOW! .. I can’t believe how just WOW…. This food was.. I literally was about to spend over $40 bucks down the street at Chips for some not so impressed over priced pancakes, but then my wife looked on her phone and we saw Laurel’s Diner, and literally no joke walked out of Chips and road our bikes down the street. The service here was great, the atmosphere was inviting and friendly, and the best part, get this, they have this cinnamon roll French toast dish that comes with 2 eggs for $9 bucks! and no joke, could be sold for $15-$20 and it is good as hell, same with the chorizo omelette. I will be driving back from DC to Connecticut to eat here again.. word on my mother🙌🏽
Great food and a lovely homey feel. One of if not my favorite breakfast nooks in southbury. Love the menu written on the wall. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was parking and seating is limited but people are always in and out so it's not much of a factor. Visit this place if your around, you won't regret it.
I literally think about this place every time I wake up. It’s the best meal i’ve ever had. I wish I lived in CT just so I can eat here every day. The staff is amazing. It’s fantastic that they each take turns being the runner, on the line and servers. The hash browns are insane. Never had more perfectly over medium eggs in my life. Thank you.
We ordered the hash special and a Spanish Omelet, and both were incredible. This is an old style diner where the only thing that rates as high as the quality of the food is courtesy and genuine concern for the patrons. We stumbled on this place by chance but were made so welcome and the food was so good that we will make many special return trips here in the future.
Soooooo delicious! I had the patriotic pancakes- cannoli, blueberries and strawberries inside the yummiest pancakes! Can't stop thinking about how good it was.
Make sure to bring cash!
There's also limited seating, but the super friendly staff work to make sure people get in as quickly as possible. Will definitely go back!

Peter, Stephanie and their staff always have a kind word, the service is great, fast, friendly and the food.... So yummy. My preference goes to chicken Cajun omelette. Highly recommended!!!!
Excellent food and service! We just happened upon this place on our route home and I'm so glad we did. The food was exceptionally good, large portions and cooked to perfection.
