This place is located in south windsor . There’s enough space for car parking as well. We went there couple of times .. and place is pretty much crowded.. food and ambiance is pleasant.
We were vegetarian when we went here.. so we tried Fried rice with vegetables and tofu .. and a Thai red curry..
Fried Rice was yummy and quantity was enough for 2. Means obviously it depends on how much you eat.
The tofu was fresh and soft.
Thai red curry : comes with white / brown rice in a bowl.. the curry is medium spicy with lots of vegetables and tofu.
You should mention which vegetables you want or any other restrictions like no egg and fish oil in fried rice or so..
place is not too costly.
Its good place to have quantity time with your loved ones and family..

This is my favorite thai restaurant. The good is consistently delicious. The peanut dressing is the best I've ever had, I usually sop it up with a spoon. My favorite is the pad thai with vegetable and tofu and my boyfriend loves the panang curry and massamun curry. The fresh spring rolls are also unique and really tasty. The servers and nice and attentive. The prices are not cheap but the portions are fair (not typical American over sized), enough to fill you up. I can't say enough about this place.

Good food, small portions, BIG price!. Honestly, when Sawadee first opened up, my mom and I loved the place. The food was always good, portions were plentiful, and servers were polite. Lately, they have an up charge for everything! They give you a small bowl of rice with stir fry dishes and curry (which is enough for me, but not normally for my fiancé) and any extra rice they want extra $$$ for. I realize this is becoming common in most thai restaurants, but it just seems like over the years sawadee's entrees have gotten smaller and smaller, and their prices higher and higher.
Despite all that, I still like their food, and when we do go (which hasn't happened in over a year) I always order the pad see ew which is flat stir fried noodles with fried eggs, chicken, broccoli, and carrots in a sweet black soy sauce. And then I usually ask for their little carrier of four different sauces so that I can pour some of the the chilli vinegar and crushed red pepper flakes over my pad see eew. I do the same when I order rad nah.
Lastly, their fried ice cream is by far the best I've tasted in any restaurant. Its nice and flakey on the outside then drizzled with chocolate sauce and whipped cream with cherries on top. Oooo soo good! They also enclose the ice cream with something other than bread, I'm thinking pound cake and cornflakes? I haven't figured it out yet, and they won't tell me either lol.
LOVE IT!!! This is where I bring everyone for their first Thai experience and have never had anyone decide they don't love it!! The service is usually prompt and food is great quality and priced reasonably!
Thai me down, i cant handle the excitement!.. When trying Thai food, Pad Thai is usually a safety dish. Go for broke here and be adventuresome. Order up a Thai ice tea (just in case you cant handle the spice), and try something new. You will not be disappointed.

Great Thai. There are many Thai places around and many of them seem to be more into image and atmosphere than the food.
This place is a tiny open room in a strip mall. If you didn't know about it you would miss it for sure.
Service was fast from the moment we sat down. Prices were fair. The variety on the menu was great. This place is very authentic as far as the selection goes.
I enjoyed everything I tried, as did my friend. We were in and out in less than a hour while taking our time.
It was quite busy on a friday night. I would go back for sure. Highly recommend it.

Simply, The BEST!. This is a quaint little Thai restaurant near Buckland Hills that i have been to on several occasions at this point, and only is it the BEST thai that i have ever had (especially in CT), the service is also very nice, polite, and quick, with a quaint and modest atmosphere. The prices are all relatively good as well, but well worth the taste. I STRONGLY recommend the pineapple fried rice!

A nice family run thai restaurant in Manchester . The ambience is very homely.
It was my second time there and the appetizers did come soon but the food did take time as they were down a cook. They did apologize for the delay as they had a lot of take out orders compared to the ppl in the restaurant.
The thai basil rice and the rad nah did come out very good. We did enjoy the food even though there was delay. The mango sticky rice wasnt that great but overall it will be good.
Would definitely come back!
I stopped in here with my mom on a Thursday afternoon to enjoy some lunch. I pass this place all the time since I live in the area and have never tried it so was happy we were finally heading in. They are located in a small plaza with plenty pf parking and an easy to spot sign out front.
The inside was cozy and cute, I enjoyed the decor and overall atmosphere. The servers were quick to seat us and take our order. They were also friendly and explained any questions well.
The food was amazing. We got the duck curry and a hot basil, both lunch portions, and were amazed to see how large the portions were and how good the food was. Quality ingredients and flavorful.
I'd recommend a stop in if you have a craving for Thai food!
I just tried their food for the first time and was completely blown away. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Since this happened to be my family's first time ordering from this restaurant we asked the staff to suggest something to us. So, she recommended that we try out either R1, R2, or Talay. Ordered R2 on their menu and it was yummy! If you are a fish lover like me, you'd want to try out their well-seasoned deep-fried red snapper fillet with steamed vegetables in spicy chili sauce. My order was a takeout but there is seating available for both indoor and outdoor. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant.
First time going here, I am very pleased. The food quality and flavor are unparalleled and this restaurant ranks among the top of my all time list. The food was served fresh and hot and you can really tell that the ingredients are fresh. The service was speedy and the employees were very attentive. I will certainly be returning.
Best Pad Thai I've ever had! Crab Rangoon is amazing too, small rolls that cool down very fast and are loaded with crab!
