Dixie has always been a great place to eat in or carry out. Large portions, reasonable prices, quick and friendly service and very consistent food are the reasons I continue to frequent this establishment. Two interesting observations: 1.) They have NEVER gotten one of my carry out orders wrong. 2.) Years ago, my wife ordered carry out, but the car wouldn't start when she was leaving to pick it up (dead battery). She called to cancel the order, but instead, they delivered it. This was well before Door Dash or Grub Hub, and it was just the kind of common sense customer service approach you can expect from Dixie.

This was our first time at the restaurant. Service was very good, everyone was masked, while capacity is properly restricted. I ordered lake perch and my wife ordered cod. Both were very good. The highlight of the menu is their soups. We both had the chicken paprikas soup and it was special. I recommend the Dixie Cafe.
