So my critique on this restaurant is if you have a McDonald's or Red Lobster mentality then you shouldn't come to this place. The portions are small but they're very tasty and they deliver some of the highest quality food in little portions. If you're looking for a a small bill for the portion of food you're not going to get it. The service was good and a nice quiet and calm atmosphere facing the St Joe River. I had their liver pate and there trout and it was wonderful.

We had a delightful dinner at Render, the cheese plate was wonderful, full of flavor, for the three of us to share with our cocktails. We each ordered the heirloom tomato salad and loved it. The Deckle of Wagyu was prepared as requested and the scallops were devine. We were too full for dessert, but loved the food and enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Render is a great addition to the South Bend food scene.
