This resturant just cracked my top 5 best restaurants in the Bay Area. Everything is farm to table, super fresh, creative, and the portion are shockingly large

Booked a table of 10. The Chicken sandwich was SOO good! Do not miss it. The fries and onion rings super tasty. Eggplant mezze plate was good. The soup and butter bean dishes got mixed reviews - the family said bland flavour and wouldn’t order again. The chicken sandwich and burgers are a definite win!

Perfect lunch spot in the Cornerstone Sonoma restaurant and shop spot. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s perfect on a warmer day with the umbrellas on the back patio. Tons to pick from, but let it be known - they do NOT skimp on the portion size (which also explains their three years running Michelin Bib Gourmand award). Fried chicken sandwich was amazing. The Tuscan bread soup was massive and amazing (just note - this is NOT vegan. There is some parmigiano reggiano grated on top. Ask for without, but highly recommend). Onion rings are totally a rock star hit. Potato flake coated makes them extra crunchy and the prickly juice fry sauce is my new favorite condiment. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is very clean and well-lit with natural sunlight, and much of that is a result of minimal but well-chosen natural decorative elements. The casual atmosphere and affordable, high-value dishes, and yet attentive service and presentation of the dishes you'd expect at a more formal location is testament to the fact that excellence is something to strive for no matter the sort of food, dress expectations, or price range.
Folktable offers all this in the most inviting and comfortable way! I intend to be back.

Best chicken fried steak I've ever had in my life.

A phenomenal lunch. We ordered the gazpacho soup, the canteloupe tiger salad, the ahi aguachile, and the burger. The flavors were all tremendous. I would like to especially shout out the ahi aguachile, which was one of the best dishes I've had in a while. The blend of textures was exciting and made it so that every bite was new, and the presentation was stunning. My recommendation is to order what makes the local produce and the chef's creativity pop.
Also the service was great :)

The parking was easy and we were able to walk in without a reservation (although during the busy season I bet this place never sleeps)!
The menu is small but well thought out. The tiny tostadas and mushroom toasts were perfectly balanced, with bright beautiful fresh flavors. Definitely don’t sleep on the mushrooms- I dropped one on the table and still ate it! That’s how delectable they were.
It was lunch so we ordered the crab roll and the shaved pork sandwich. They came out so photogenic on the plates you almost didn’t want to touch them. Again, spot on genius food creation.
It’s easy to see why this is listed on the Michelin guide. The photos speak for themselves. It’s also just a beautiful area to walk around in, enjoy the garden, sip wine, shop, etc.

I was really skeptical of the ratings.
Then I had the chicken fat fried rice (with crab toppings)
And WOW.
What. On. Earth.
WOW.
As an asian, this is one rice done right with justice. The extra ginger zest really gives it a nice resemblance to hainanese chicken rice back home.
Immediate 5 stars. Must try the chicken fat fried rice.

We found this place when we got so hungry at the Sonoma Raceway. The food court at raceway left us out of option.
This restaurant is located in a nice plaza where you can wine and dine, shops and stroll. The crab roll we had is pretty fresh, it had succulent chunks of crab meat tucked inside a buttery, toasted roll. The flavor is rich and savory, with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the natural sweetness of the crab.
Another standout dish is the whole baked eggplant. This hearty vegetarian option features a tender, roasted eggplant that has been stuffed with a flavorful mixture of herbs, spices, and vegetables. It's a great option for anyone looking for something healthy and satisfying.
However, the service at this restaurant is a bit slow, so be prepared to wait a bit for your food and service. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but they could use a bit more hustle to keep things moving along.
The environment at the restaurant is charming, with a rustic barn style decor that features colorful dried flowers. It's a cozy and inviting space, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family.
