Fitzpatrick's Tavern

A nice Irish Tavern with tin panel ceilings. My wife and I had dinner at the tavern on Monday night. Staff was friendly and the service was good. We started with a pint of Harps and fried calamari. The calamari was served with lemon and a spicy red sauce and was tender. I ordered the Guinness beef stew for dinner. The stew was a tomato/Guinness based stew with tender beef, carrots and potatoes. The flavor was very good and the bread helped to pick up the last of the stew. I would definitely ordered this stew again.

Came here to try their fish & chips, and WOW!! This is the best one we’ve had! It’s so crispy yet so tender. They’re generous with their portion too so definitely a 5-star experience! We also ordered the shepherd pie, it’s also great. Amazing chef and waitress! Wish we were living here, I’d be a regular!

Had dinner here for the 1st time and the food was amazing. Mikala was awesome and was only one there yet handled everything perfectly. I tried the corn chowder which was awesome then had the Philly cheese steak which was great plus even the citrus salad dressing was great.Next trio to town I definitely want to try the shepards pie.There was only 1 cook Caesar and he did an amazing job as it did get a bit busy but it's definitely worth waiting for. Absolutely loved this place!!

What a pleasant surprise this place was! The atmosphere fit the tavern feel, yet it was nicely decorated and well maintained. Our server was friendly and gave great service. Food was very flavorful and piping hot! My beef stew was excellent, and my husband enjoyed his shepherds pie. Worth making a stop here if you are visiting Solvang.

What a find! This hidden hole in the wall, local Irish Pub was a real find here in Solvang. We were looking for a place to watch our hockey team,Vegas Golden Knights, play ( #goknightsgo )and they were accommodating. We had their version of Irish Coffees, as it was a cold day, and a starter of fried calamari. They were both yummy and the great start for our meal. I had the Corned Beef plate and it was plentiful to say the least. My friends had the lamb shank and the bangers & mash, both meals were great, and very generous servings. We did have the bread pudding with a Jameson's whiskey sauce that was to die for...it was the last serving and I understand why as it was sooo good. I am so glad we shook off the cold weather, and enjoyed this great local pub. The waitress was friendly, (I'm sorry that I have forgotten her name) and knowledgeable about the menu and local attractions. Please take the time to stop by, have a drink and relax!

Food is excellent and fresh. Fun and welcoming atmosphere. Sam and the team were welcoming and friendly definitely makes you feel welcomed. It's a great place to get a drink and watch sports with friends along with tasty delicious food. My chicken sandwich club sandwich was so fresh from the chicken to the bread the fries even the avocado. The beans and mash were excellent. Has outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely a cute Irish pub that I definitely recommend people to try.
