California Tacos & Taproom

Stopped in this place yesterday afternoon not expecting much but was pleasantly, actually more than pleasantly surprised. Ordered here tacos combos for wife and I. Her's was chili verdes, mine was vegetarians--both orders were really great. My tacos were tasty roasted vegetables with cheesy beans--didn't expect to find a great veggie dish in a out of the way place like this, but I did. Also side refried beans and spanish rice were excellent, just kick I remembered from home when I was a kid. Needless to say, I whole hearty recommend this place. Lastly, there was an edible purple lily looking flower on each plate!

Wow , never thought solvang had amazing tasting Mexican food - I was charging my ca rebar by and order food from here - wow - really good quesadilla , super nachos - and fries - i recently went to los Cabos and even tho it’s Mexico the food was so bland I kept telling them it didn’t taste authentic 🤷🏻‍♂️ this place does . Congrats guys really good food - good prices too .

They taste as good as they look. Small Place served by people from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Served by a sweetheart from Zapopan, Jalisco. Amazing how you can drive a few hours away from big cities and find a place like California Tacos in Solvang! What? Yup! Incredible place. A need to go place when staying in Solvang!
