Taco Time

I had low expectations going in. I am in the middle of nowhere, let's hope for the best.. After about 5 mins of waiting to find out if anybody worked here I placed for what seemed like a easy and safe order from taco time. Chicken, rice, lettuce ranch. A #6 for all you taco time lovers. I have no idea what happened but this was truly awful. The chicken was a cut up chicken sandwich patty. No lettuce, no ranch, and loads, I mean loads of onions. No idea who done messed up. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs.... YUCK.

This particular Taco Time is inside the Chevron gas station. They were understaffed, as most fast food restaurants are these days, but the service was fairly quick. Anyway. I've always found Taco Times food very good. Different from all the other taco joints. The price was a little higher than it should have been, but all in all the very good experience.

Every time we try to stop we don't even get acknowledged. We've sat in the drive thru for 10+ minutes so today we decided to go inside thinking maybe it would be better. After the person at the register took a couple orders he left the register, even though my husband was the only one in line. All we wanted was ice cream. After waiting another 20 minutes, with employees bringing orders out, looking at us, and just going back to the back we finally walked over and got ice cream at the gas station. I'm a very patient person but this has happened on multiple occasions where we wait a long time and then leave with nothing. Something needs to change.

Stopped taking orders 15 minutes before close. Really just lacking any sense of urgency and customer service. Not entirely sure how this place is still in business to be honest. The little white trash kid working tried kicking us out two minutes before close, before we even got all of our food. The manager calmed us down a little but even then he just wanted to get back to his smoke break so he didn’t really do much but offer us coupons. Unless that kid is fired, this place will be out of business in no time. Terrible customer service.

OVERVIEW - 4.2 Came here as I was passing through town, and was in hunger. LOCATION - 5 It's actually a rather good location inside of the gas station with many people passing over the bridge. PRICE - 4 The price was a little steep for my liking, but I guess that makes sense because Soda Springs is out in the middle of nowhere so it would cost a bit more money to have things shipped to them. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 I ordered the sweet pork burrito, and it was rather delicious. POINTERS/PERKS - 5 If no one is at the register, ring the bell. I found that out the hard way after trying to yell out for the one employee I could see, a fellow customer pointed out the bell, that was kind of blended with the register. EMPLOYEES - 2 Not very impressed, it only appeared there was one employee working and running the show, which was confirmed as I was leaving I saw two other employees outside on a smoke break. Honestly, that's a major turn off for me, knowing that they've been out puffing it up then turn around and handle my food, I know they wash their hands and all, but I highly doubt they do a good job washing hands.

I would avoid eating here. The food wasn't as good as other A&W's that I had been to before. The service was extremely slow- 45 minutes going through the drive thru. It seemed like the staff was under trained. While taking my order, the server had to keep going through the order to get it right. The server also kept saying that they got swamped with a bunch of people, which would indicate that they were understaffed for the night.

Working to improve their reputation - We had a good experience yesterday, with a large order that was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Food was fresh, as you would expect from a low volume location like this. Sandwiches were well made. I noticed the manager going out of her way to keep customers informed on the status of their orders. Give them a break, and give them a try!
