Truly fantastic food. Check out some of their daily specials, all very original and cool items to try! It’s a gas station but also has tables and booths on one side. You go to the counter to order, then pick up your drink and seat yourself. Super friendly staff and food came out super fresh/hot. Be spontaneous here or get a regular cheeseburger and fries, either one will have you leaving satisfied!

Great little place to stop for food, fuel and other needs. They have a small seating area where you can enjoy some yummy food from their kitchen, and they are just a little ways from boat ramps and mountain bike/hiking trails. Check it out in Paradise!

How could any 'sane' person not love Captains Corner!
It's a local, family owned and operated restaurant which is located inside an adorable country store / gas station with unique items to purchase along with items you may need for a trip to the lake.
The daily specials are intriguing and the menu items are excellent made-to-order, large portion meals at reasonable prices!
I like making the trip up there to run trails by Smithville Lake and have had a wonderful experience every time I go to Paradise!

We've always had a great experience here. The place is quirky, staff is friendly, and lots to look at. The food is really good, I recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich with sweet potato fries.

Great place. Wonderful customer service, even better food. I enjoyed everything about it. My only knock on the place, I couldn't eat two of these burgers, cause it is so filling, lol. I will gladly be making trips to this wonderful little place. Top tier.

Great little country store atmosphere with dining. They have daily specials that all look amazing. Enjoyed one of the daily specials that tasted amazing and was enough food to split between the 2 of us!

We feel so fortunate to have such amazing food available close to home! It’s a small kitchen in a quaint country store that has become very popular due to serving amazing fresh food. Everyone there works so hard to take care if the large crowds so be patient because it is worth the wait! Portions are large enough to split too. Thank you to everyone busting their back ends! I love this place! It's always been a fun place to stop in while we're at the lake. It's evolved into a destination spot with fantastic, freshly prepared food and a friendly, family run experience. The daily specials are creative and keep this place on my mind. We are thrilled when we go by and see every parking spot full. I am looking forward to our next visit, can't wait!
