We ate at the Outback in Smithfield for lunch. We sat in the bar area. Laura was our waitress and she was fabulous! Very personable and service was excellent. She made sure we had plenty of refills and checked on us just the right amount of times. We asked for take out boxes and she insured we had all the condiments we needed. Just a great experience!

Stopped in for a late lunch today... Had the meatloaf which was delicious and my girlfriend had ordered the 6 oz steak lunch special. It was a little overcooked for her taste (she's kinda picky lol) but it looked fine to me. No big deal, not a crisis by any means... Our server. Tatiana, who was an absolute delight from the moment we sat down and the manager Laura both came over to check on us, apologized even though there was no need to apologize in my opinion... They both took it upon themselves to remove it from our final tab which was completely unexpected and also completely unnecessary. But we are very very grateful for them doing that... I can see why the reviews are so good for this location. Great people. Everybody was super friendly. On our next trip back to North Carolina making our way to New Bern from Raleigh, we will definitely make a point of stopping in and grab either lunch or dinner.

Stopped here after traveling all day. What a refreshing experience! The service was great even though they were very busy. The spicy meatloaf was surprisingly good. Loved the way they seared the slices.

Typical outback, way better than most. Was able to find a seat at the bar and have a good meal. Nothing to complain about, except bartender was annoyingly chewing gum like a cow.

We dined here on a busy Saturday night. Our wait was 30 mins but we were seated immediately after. Considering how busy they were, a wait was expected. Overall our service was good and the food tasted delicious. I enjoyed my drink and my date enjoyed his food/drink as well. I would come back.
