Huhot Mongolian Grill

HuHot is always a good "go to" place for lunch/dinner. Service is always quick as you pick your own bowl. Kinda like a buffet. Beef, pork, (crab), mild/hot sausage, mussels tonight. GB, onions, hot/ mild peppers, cabbage, mushrooms, pineapple, corn, broccoli, spinach, sprouts, water chestnuts, potatoes. Always get the bowl of rice. And make it 🔥!! Good stuff.

I was in a couple days and sat at the bar. The savory food was very satisfying. The atmosphere was pretty laid back which is quite the contrary, because I frequent this location and it’s usually packed to the gills! The bartender Jordan, was very attentive, friendly, and assertive. She was fast at getting my drink, quick to offer me Crab Rangoon (which are DELICIOUS) and just overall had a very good vibe. I was kind of in low spirits when I came in because I had lost my cell phone but she was very quick in uplifting my spirits! 5 star experience Love it here! Can’t wait to go Back!!

I’ve been to HuHot on a lot of occasions over several years. It’s one of our group’s favorite places to go. My server did a good job and that was totally fine but the star of show was David on the grill. He was engaging and very polite. He thanked every single person I saw him talking to and he thanked everyone that left a tip in the jar by the grill. And he cooked everything perfectly with a little flair! Thanks for the great experience, David!

Food was good. Waitress got the highest tip I've paid in years because she was always there before we needed her. Care for floors and wiping counters doesn't seem like a priority for this place. Price is very high unless you're a buffet packin' glutton. Do not expect 6 feet between people, in fact while in line you may not get 6 inches between you and the next chow hound.

I haven't eaten here in 20 years (pretty much since it opened). It wasn't as good as I remembered. And, for the amount we paid, we should have gone elsewhere for better environment. The staff was hustling, for sure, but the dining room was kinda dingey, music was too loud for conversation, and the buffet areas - while well stocked - were crowded and not as tidy as I'd prefer for a buffet. The traffic flow is too tight around the buffet areas. For the meal and drinks, we paid $20/person and the experience was just okay.
