My husband and I drove by Sioux Falls while headed home. I picked this place because it had good reviews and it said "Guatemalan restaurant" and also because the food looked tasty. Just so you guys know the 3 stars on here means "it's okay"
Anyways we went in and got seated right away. It does get a little loud in there, just so you know. When I looked at their menu I thought I was in a Mexican restaurant. There is only one dish that's from Guatemala and I ordered it to try something new. I ordered the "Authentic Guatemalan Dish"
which is chicken in coconut cream, served with rice, beans and garnished with fried plantains & coleslaw. I love plantains and they cooked them perfectly! The coconut cream chicken reminds me of Indian food (as in food from the country, India). They brought me this small bowl filled with something that looked like a soup with curry and chicken. It was okay. The rice and beans was good. In my opinion they should call this a Mexican restaurant because there is lots of dishes from Mexico but only one from Guatemala.

A really cute and clean restaurant. I had a burrito which was huge and delicious. Their sauces were fantastic. They offer a lunch buffet with a nice selection of items. The wait staff was efficient and helpful. Lots of seating and TV's. Everyone in my party cleaned their plates.

¡Comida fenomenal! That's "phenomenal food" for you non-spanish speakers! I give this place the elusive 5 star rating for literally the best shrimp nachos and homemade salsa I've ever had, as well as friendly, bilingual staff, clean restrooms and clean kitchen (you walk past it on the way to restrooms). I ate at the downtown location and it was so good I ordered combo fajitas to go so I can try them later. Food is very generous portions. A margarita w/1800 (not well tequila) was just $5, shrimp nachos $15. With fajitas the total was under $40 - that's very reasonable in my book. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed!

Good flavors and wide menu. Authentic Guatemalan chicken had a tasty coconut sauce and an flavorful rice. Flautas were crispy and served with a mild sauce. Fish tacos were average. Large portions across the board.

We were in town for a concert and found this place. They have huge portions so beware! The meat was well seasoned and the service was quick. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area.

Had the Pollo en Crema, and it was super delicious. My mom is Guatemalan and this restaurant definitely didn't disappoint. Will be coming back for sure!
