Itacho Sushi

World class service. Top notch. I asked for a physical menu, since their pathetic online menu via QR can't load normally, to which the staff passed me some pen & paper and told me to write our orders. I might as well put on a culinary uniform and prep my own order, bill myself, and reward myself the 10% service charge. But wait! That's not all! At a non-peak hour where the restaurant is 10% populated, a Japanese curry rice took half hour. And the pork's texture is comparable to a cardboard. The sushi is so-so, pretty okay. I know Itacho Sushi is mainstream and not exactly an upscale place, but good lord - in a pandamic where businesses are in dire straits - I hope people don't set foot in there and support other worthy places.

Be prepared for a minimum 30mins waiting period before visit here. In another way it is great to see local business getting busier during this pandemic. Nice team of working crews, swiftly handle the crowds in and out. Quite spacious and the ordering is done via QR code. Love the served food, very tasty and generous in portion. Price wise slightly on the higher end. Will return soon :)

The food is quite pricey. Hence, i would expect them to be of certain quality. Unfortunately, this restaurant falls way under my expectations. The texture of the wasabi was extremely clumpy, and didnt taste like wasabi. Even the one from fairprice taste better than this. Tuna is not fresh and felt very mushy. California roll tasted like the one from sushi takeout. The omelette rice was very dry, not enough gravy. Overall not value for money. Do not recommend!

I have been trying to dine in at this restaurant whenever I go to Jewel but the queue is no joke especially for someone like me, who has no patience… Today, I finally understand why the queue & also why diners dun mind queuing 😋😋 Love the sushi! The sushi’s are fresh, no doubt about it & very reasonably priced. The avocado salad is yummy too! We ordered salad, main course & some side dishes and surprised to see that the bill was less than $50. Really worth the money 😜
