Delicious prepared. Not really oily And yet tasty. Noodle is on the mod hard side, sauce is watery than oily, some pork minced and a couple of slice Lrd pork liver and fish balls topped it all. The soup tells a lot on how much pride they put into preparing it. Love it. Watch out for the long line of queue. Recommend.

Been eating this for over 20 years. There are times that they might have been rude but I have never experienced it myself. One thing for sure, don’t give them $50 for a bowl of noodles especially in the morning. If you explain why, they will still be ok. I make it a habit to pay loose change when I am dining in hawker centres. Back to the food, it’s fabulous. From the lard and shallot oil, the blend together with their chilli and combo of vinegar makes it potent. I have brought friends there and they are never disappointed. If you don’t like it, it’s just portably you are expecting bedok style or Tai Hwa style, this is Fishball Bak Chor Mee. Their Fishball gives out nice fish taste as you chew and the pork liver is cooked just right!

Not too bad a bowl of noodles. I ordered the meepok dry and I like the way it was presented. Looks like there was quite a bit of variety of ingredients, too bad I didn't like the liver and the pork lard I forgot to tell the person to exclude it. I liked the fragrance of the chili and how good it was, had the kick and wasn't too spicy. Fishballs and the mushrooms were soft and chewy. All in all a very enjoyable bowl of noodles. I was expecting a queue but was pretty glad there were only 2 people queuing in front of me. No hassle and got my noodles in 5 minutes. Didn't know there was a competitor next to it. Maybe will try and compare some other time.

Happen to pass by Kovan Market and Food Center and found this hidden gem that sells traditional dessert. I find their mixed fruit ice jelly super interesting and yummy, not too sweet and the owner give generous portion of jelly, Sure will come back and try their other desserts.

Delicious bowl of dry minced meat noodles. Very flavourful and the meat is cooked just right! Superb! Ordered the $4 & $5 to see what’s the difference. My usual stall for breakfast 💯

Expect long queues most of the time, especially during peak mealtimes, but queue moves quickly. Out of the 3 popular minced meat noodle stalls here, this one serve a nice, rich noodle with emphasis on their braised mushroom and sauce. Chilli has a nice gentle kick to it, and they are generous with the ingredients relative to their price. Curry chicken noodle and laksa are acceptable.

Charged me an unbelievable $2.50 for a standard ice cocktail jelly. i did a sanity check and for reference the same thing in the Marsiling Hawker Centre costs only $1.50. And the Marsiling Hawker Centre is one of those new privately managed Hawker Centres.

Very good bak chor mee indeed! I was particularly impressed by the springy texture of the cooked noodles that literally bounced off my teeth in every bite. Seasoning was perfect too. You could taste the unmistakable flavours of crispy pork lard, aromatic fried chilli paste, black vinegar, delish meat juices from the bak chor, and the umaminess from the stewed shitake mushrooms, all orchestrated into a really flavoursome sauce for the bowl of perfectly cooked noodles. The fish ball, pork ball and sliced fish cake just added more bouncy notes to every mouthful of the good grub. But the soup was nonedescript -- normal at best. This is certainly a quintessential bowl of bak chor mee, and I can see why people make a beeline for it and long queues form up quickly during the peak hours. I'm just lucky to have avoided the crowds when I swung by during the off-peak hours! ✌😄
