This is the first time we dined here since covid19. We have been ordering the cold crabs and other dishes but never dined in. I am happy to say this place brings back good traditional taste. Service is good and so is the very reasonable price.

Food is pretty good, but not really worth the price, which is pretty expensive for zhi char.
need to book table if not there will be risks of not having table for dinner.
Parking is limited as the public carpark is pretty small. Illegal parking is not recommended.

This Teochew restaurant has the 90s vibes. The food are great with reasonable price. I had:
1. Claypot brinjal with minced meat - tasty and yet not salty, which is rare for this dish.
2. Sliced grouper fish poached rice

Economical; good quality Teochew food, tasty, not too oily; 👍 Ambience is good; Service is quick and responsive, even at lunch time! Reserve a table, though, if you're going for lunch on weekdays- it's a full house till after lunch hours! 😋

Traditional teochew restaurant that is old school, with great food. I expected such a place to have normal (read: not that great) service but I was amazed at how attentive they were to refill our tea, change our plates, and timed the dishes so we had time to finish our cold crabs before moving on to the other dishes.
What was great : the traditional teochew platter, the cold crab, the braised duck, the cabbage with mushrooms and the orh née. (everything we ordered!)

I used to visit this restaurant when they were at Selegie road and managed to locate their new but smaller outlet at Macpherson. Sitting arrangement is quite tight but the food will make up for all the other cons. The must-not-miss : cold dish, cold crab, fried hor fun and its fried mantou. Their food is so delicious and full of wok-hey! Im so glad the quality of food is still as good. The only dish that is missing is the dark sauced three layerd pork and the bao. They have replaced it without the dark sauce so that is a minus for me. Price-wise, it is quite affordable too. Highly recommended!!

Seafood is fresh and tasty, the cold crabs, black pepper crayfish and fried salted egg crab are a must try. Price is very reasonable. Highly recommend for people who wanted good quality food with an affordable price.

The marmit pork ribs excellent this time. Tender, soft and very tasty 9 / 10.
Cold crab did not disappoint 9 / 10.
Chilled prawns were 9 / 10 as well 😃

Enjoyed all the dishes. The kway teow is a little sweet however has nice wok hay (charred) flavour.
