A beautiful Japanese Italian bistro in a 2 storey shophouse. 2 waitresses served our table. One was friendly, one never said a word. Large varieties of wine. Highly recommend the Black Cod. The rest of the dishes were average. It costs around $90 per person.

Nice chill ambience, very accessible restroom, and nice service. Japanese fusion stands out everywhere, including the welcoming drink of green tea, and the salad dressing.

worth the price but not the wine. thank you for serving our table, handsome 24yo waiter (with mask on) on second level🤫 rather professional, introduced the ingredients used, but that’s about it. The restaurant might want to take care of the insects flying into the second floor through the windows😐

4 star due to that there was not enough service staff. Only 1 poor part timer and 1 manager running the show. Should look into the planning. Overall the food is marvelous and the portion is worth the money. Highly recommend for occasionals such as catching up with friends or gathering.

The aircon is too cold. There were small bones and fish scale in the Carpacio, told the staff but was not given any attention specifically to it. I had a pricky feeling in throat and most probably had swallow the bones. Food was average. But the Blackrod is really good. Dessert KUMO is fabulous

Went for lunch at Caffe B a month ago, a small place hidden in a corner of Chinatown serving great Japanese Italian food. Lovely cafe with great service, price was reasonable and the food was good too. However, the air con was super strong, pretty cold and better wear extra jacket when dined in.

A morden Japanese*Italian restaurant & bar which was originally in MBS and relocated to Club Street few years ago. Managed to walk in at a Sunday night. Each dish (for dinner, not for lunch) is next level delicate! Recommend: Farmer’s egg & sea urchin; Rossini (beef+goose liver+truffle); Risotto Lobster (cheesy cheesy lobster🦞🧀️); the salads are also fresh and nice. Seats at 2nd and 3rd floor are also available for reservation. (super cozy and COLD🥶as well lol. Do wear an extra jacket or cardigan pls pls) P.S: A recent silent promo: you’ll get a free dessert for $80 spending (Need to request it to be free upon ordering, otherwise you will have to pay for it lol) overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience!

Hosted lunch here with the missus for three close friends and it was an enjoyable experience. Three of us went for the set lunch, which included a small salad, iced green tea or bread, while two of us opted for the ala carte lobster rissotto. We also ordered a burrata cheese to share. The lobster was a nice size and fresh, but some parts of the meat was overcooked slightly. The risotto smelt and tasted of a rich seafood broth, but some parts were gummy. The squid ink pasta was delicious, and nicely al dente, while the tortellinis were very good too. The burrata could have had a bit more olive oil, but that is a personal preference. It was fresh, if a tad on the runny side, but otherwise tasty. Service was warm, but was a little hit and miss, perhaps as they only had three male staff dealing with almost a full eatery. But when you told them what was needed, they were quick to provide napkins and top up water etc. They were also nice enough to provide free dessert. Pricing and portions were reasonable.
