Excellent place for a decadent dessert after a light lunch or to satisfy your sweet cravings when you are out on a walk by the riverside. When one is in a Chocolate Bar one must eat chocolate...or not! We decided to have the Lemon Tart and a Raspberry dessert. The Lemon Tart was to die for, with its tangy flavour and wonderful textures. The Raspberry dessert was a little sour to the taste, but the hint of marzipan lifted it from the mundane to the outstanding!

We've been here thrice and it's always been a scrumptious experience every time. A place for decadent chocolate dessert flavors! Plus points for the welcoming staff. The malay girl, Shaz recognized me and knew i've been there before and gave good recommendations.. Amazing memory! Also had a chance to see Chef Laurent Bernard himself in action. Be warned though they're crazy packed and busy all the time. Expect long waiting time to get a seat.

This is a cozy cafe joint mainly serving coffee, sweet treats, gelato, tarts, and cake. They also do whole-cake as well as artisanal chocolate & wine for gift & celebration.
If you are someone into a little booze, do try their rum & raisin gelato. This is a particular item which I have been returning for.
Staff are friendly, and it’s totally fine to just have a cup of coffee or a pot of tea over there.

Would honestly skip the ice cream and have the cakes. Had the pistachio ice cream but it simply just tasted sweet and doesn’t have the nutty taste.
Lemon tart was surprisingly great. Though it’s on a pricey side, but it tastes pretty refreshing with the taste of lemon. Highly recommend it.

I just had a heavy dinner and I could not bring myself to walk pass Laurent with its tantalizing display of desserts. We decided on 2 scoops of ice cream, an eclair and 2 hot drinks and the bill came up to about $50. Definitely a pricey cafe but the eclair was (sinfully) amazing.

Fantastic products, brilliant service and quality to match.
The chocolate, cake and ice cream are 5*! Once you start, there is literally so much to select!
Definitely worth a visit - you can eat there or take away.

Lovely quaint cafe! Have been coming here everytime i can and the service staff Shaz is wonderful! She remembers my usual orders and makes the best hot chocolate! but today was exceptional.. she recommended me to try their new icecream flavour, mucilage and paired with mango sorbet is delish! Ever so lovely service thank you!

Chanced upon this place after dinner one night and had one of the best chocolate cakes - especially Lola ;) - I will remembered for a long time to come! Coffee can be nicer given the price though. Still 5 stars for what they are good for and cant wait to be back again.
