Trattoria Nonna Lina

It was nothing short of spectacular and perfection - we had been searching for our go to Italian restaurant for a long time and so glad to have chanced upon this gem! The decor is cute and cosy, makes you feel like you’re in Italy + food quality is amazing with generous portions. The bill comes out to the same place as if you dine elsewhere but this is SO much better! Not sure about why others gave bad reviews on service as everyone in the restaurant were friendly and accommodating to all the guests on a busy Friday evening. Would give 6 stars if I could! We will be back soon and often!

Another reviewer described Nonna Lina as perfect. I couldn't agree more! Every dish we had was made with fresh ingredients, freshly prepared and prefectly seasoned! The clams and mussels starter was especially delicious - the best I've had in many years. We could tell that there is so much care with the food, even the plating! Kudos to Nonna Lina. We'll be back and will tell our friends!

Perfect food and service! I’ve been here once before and decided to walk in the other day - luckily there were seats for an early dinner. Really fresh tomatoes for the complementary appetiser, generous serving for the burrata salad and very good pasta. Tiramisu may be a miss for some if you do not like a lot of cream, but the cream was surprisingly delicious. Service was warm, welcoming & prompt. We enjoyed our time there!

Really enjoyed the food and the ambiance! We went without a reservation and they were accommodating. Got a bottle of wine, one appetizer, one pasta dish, one main meat and two desserts between the 2 of us. I was so stuffed and beyond satisfied (in a good way). The ingredients were fresh and absolutely delicious. The fresh buffalo mozzarella was really good-- great texture and richness. For me, the highlight was the Trofie al Pesto! I am still thinking about the dish. Fragrant basil and not overly rich. The steak was great as well as the tiramisu and cheeses. Definitely will be going back!

Fantastic Italian trattoria that welcomes you like a neighborhood family run restaurant, serving hearty delicious dishes with remarkable service. I reserved dinner at this restaurant for my friend's birthday dinner and I'm glad the dishes, selection of wines and service does not disappoint. It's a restaurant I'd definitely visit again with my loved ones. One to keep for the favourites. Thank you for making my evening with my best friend memorable.

Eating here brings me back to Italy, the flavours are authentic, unpretentious and portions are always generous. You're being well taken care of, from wine recommendations to the freshest ingredients. I've been coming here for awhile now and they never fail to impress me with honest good flavours and the warm hospitality.

I can see the appeal of this place - pastas are flavourful and not overpowering. As mentioned by others, portions are quite huge so great for sharing in groups of 3/4. We didn't manage to try the meat / fish this time so might come back again in due time. Tiramisu was a miss for me - feels like I was literally eating cream the whole time. Service was prompt with clearing of plates and pouring of water - though it felt a little robotic so a smile and casual conversation might do the trick. Chef looks like a supporter of Inter Milan? :)
