O'charley's

Overall the food was really good but the service and lack of cleanliness is what killed it for us. We waited 10 minutes at our table to be greeted and it took nearly 25 to get our appetizer. We watched tables around us be cleared from newly departed customers and learned quickly why the floors were covered in food and trash debri. It’s because they just swept food and trash from the table onto the chairs and floor without any care to clean it up. Look closely at the pictures and you’ll see food remnants on the chair of table nearby.

Our experience started off great when the hostess Lisa, who has been there for many years, greeted us with a huge smile and took us to our table in the bar area. It was from this point that the bartender, Andrea, took over and did an amazing job. She explained and described several of the newer menu item to us then quickly brought our rolls and drinks. After taking our order she had the salads out within a minute and kept the drinks refilled and table clean throughout the meal. Food was hot and fresh and tasted great. Had a great experience and will be back again soon.

I haven't been to this place to much, but if it were cheaper, I would definitely go more often. The food itself tastes really good and is good quality. This is even after we brought it home and it had been siting for a couple minutes. I could just tell that, since it was still really good, it would be even better in the restaurant. In terms of price, you're looking at about the same as other establishments like this one. About 10-12 dollars for a meal. The only gripe with is is that me and my sister did curbside pickup, and they never brought our food out. It turns out, there was a mess-up and essentially I think they didn't realize that it was curbside and that it was Door Dash. Since I work in the food industry, I know stuff happens, so it's entirely understandable. I mainly say that to say you may need to go in if you do curbside just in case. I can't say much for customer service, but for the minute I was in there, the people seemed really nice. I would recommend this place.

Service was great and food super good! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because when we got there and we went to the counter, the hostess asked how many and I told her 2. She didn't ask for a name and said it will be a few minutes. We were waiting to be called and other people were coming in and being seated. I went back to the counter and asked her if we would be getting a table soon and she said she she didn't write our name down and it will be a few min. I seen more people being seated and this was after I had given our name and they had come in after us. About 15 min later I had to go back up to the counter and ask if we would be getting a table again, but this was a different girl. She asked my name and I told her. They didn't have our name on the right paper! So this girl sat us right a way. She said she was sorry. I thanked her. Then everything went smooth after that.

Wish I could give zero stars! Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever encountered with a restaurant being that I have never found a bug, DEAD FLY to be exact, grilled on my hamburger bun! I am utterly disgusted with O’charleys of Simpsonville. So no one saw the fly sitting directly on top of the bun before closing my to-go box and sending it out of the kitchen? This was pure negligence, unsanitary, and incompetent. 2nd time my order was messed up within a month. The first time my food was hanging out of the to-go box, literally touching the inside of the bag, and only God knows who’s hands touched the food before going in the bag. I received a refund for that order and I should have learned my lesson then. Believe me, I have now! Never again!!!!!!!
