Worst burrito I've ever had, veggies were barely cut, barely any meat in the burrito, salsa has no flavor. I was given beans in an espresso cup with my chips. Also asked for no sour cream and they put a bunch of it in there. The word "burrito" is in their name so I thought they would be good, dead wrong. I don't do reviews often but because this was so bad, I had to say something.

Uncle Bertos is not your average Mexican restaurant. Their salsa bar is one of my favorites in Greenville. Locally owned in the heart of Five Forks, Uncle Bertos is a hidden gem. They are famous for their smothered burritos. I love their nachos, tostadas, and tacos. I’ve had their tamales before and loved them. Today they weren’t the best but in the 25 plus times we’ve been there I’ve never had a bad meal so this one was a miss but not a big deal in the long run. They’ve added the ever famous Birria tacos. The tacos themselves were great, the consume was a little watered down. Grab the clover app for special coupons! I’ll definitely be back soon.

Placed an order at just after noon. Was ready within 15 minutes. We had several special requests and our order was spot on. There is a lot of flavor to the food. The only item we weren't the happiest with was the super burrito. It was thick but very small in length. I think the name misrepresents its size. Otherwise all other items were plentiful and flavorful. I especially like the guacamole salsa. Chips and beans come with the meal. I love beans with chips; you don't see complimentary beans at many places. Fast and flavorful.

I've been wanting to try here for years and today I finally did and was amazed at what I had. I got the Quesabirra and they were wonderful. The shells were Cooked right and the meet had a great flavor. The chips, beans and salsa where great as well. The roasted jalapeños salsa was full of heat and flavor. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Food was great! We got 3 tacos and 3 enchiladas. The enchiladas were AMAZING! The tacos were good. Almost made this review 4 stars bc the side of sour cream was barely any, most of it stuck to the container like cheese, not sure if it’s a mixture or regular sour cream that has melted…it was cold tho so not sure. Every meal comes with its own chips and bean dip. The bean dip was really good and chips tasted homemade. Good thick chips. They also have a salsa bar. The pico from the salsa bar was ok, not sure if the hubby scooped nothing but onion or what but it was equal onion to tomato in the pico. I would def try this place again. They have street corn, like food truck style, definitely want to try it next time. So much variety on the menu. Friendly and patient staff as well.

Get it to go or eat outside. No AC midday in April - the small dining area was filled with humidity and cooking smells, as the grill is adjacent and poorly ventilated. Feels like an authentic Mexican restaurant inside. Flavorful and a bit too salty. The complementary salsa bar is a nice touch.
