I was looking for a good old fashion Mom & Pop restaurant, that could satisfy my taste buds. I ordered catfish, fries, chicken strips, fried shrimp, seasoned hush puppies and house lemonade. Folks, the food was outstanding and i'll be going back. Kudos to the cook and hostess🙂👍

Cute little restaurant. The hushpuppies are the best thing I tasted here. The slaw had horseradish in it, and it was awful. The shrimp were not cleaned and the fish was tough and poorly battered. The crab cakes were falling apart and it was very frustrating. I may have caught them on a bad day.

My husband and I love this place. We found it after moving here from Beaufort where one could get all the fresh seafood you wanted. Nothing compares to fresh off the boats but this is a close second. Complain about the prices if you want but seafood is expensive. If you don't want to pay the prices eat at home or elsewhere. Businesses are struggling and small places like this are just trying to be able to afford to keep the doors open and scrape together a living. The food is consistently good and the staff are always pleasant. Highly recommend!

This was my first time ordering. I appreciated the patience and kindness of the woman who took my order. I tend to be indecisive and she was great! Catfish, fries and (in restaurant made) coleslaw were absolutely wonderful. This picture was taken after I had already eaten some. Portions were perfect for the price. Well done Southern Catch Seafood. If you felt my review and pictures were helpful to you, please don't forget to click the thumbs up icon. Thank you!

Locally owned, friendly staff, very reasonable prices, although the menu is not extensive, freshwater fish, shrimp, crab cakes, with fixings

Go for the food and service, not the atmosphere, and you will love it. Lots of great fried and grilled seafood plus desserts that made me want to lick the bowl! Order ahead and arrive early. I suggest between 4:00 and 4:30 because it is a small place and fills up quickly. We had grilled shrimp, coleslaw, hush puppies, baked potatoes, and a blackberry Cobbler dessert. Yummy!

Flounder was just ok and the okra may have been good if the salt hadn't overpowered the taste. Waitress was friendly and prompt even though we had to wait too long for our food. To me a little pricey.

We ordered 5 plates of the low country boil to go. Got home and the food was over seasoned to the point that no one could eat it. It was so spicy it made your lips burn and made you sick to eat. I tried to call back 2 times to let them know and no one would answer the phone. I drove all the way back with food in hand and kindly asked for a refund and the owner said all she would do is give me credit. I’m obviously not coming back so I said no thanks. Cooks make mistakes but it’s the business owners responsibility to take care of the customer. I’ve had low county boils a thousand times and never could I not eat it. Don’t waste your time with this restaurant. It’s sad because you try to support local but then you have a experience like this.
