Really good tacos. The best in the area. But I have to give 4 stars because there was no air conditioning and it was hot. Other than that is great!!!

My girlfriend and I love this quick and casual authentic Latino restaurant. The tacos are the bomb and they come with a green sauce that is spicy but excellent. The Lengua and Pollo tacos are excellent. The horchata was tasty and made with milk.
This is a simple but tasty place with great tacos. I highly recommend anyone try it. The service is great and usually doesn't take very long for the food to be ready. Give it a shot and you won't regret it.

This is one of my favorite Latino restaurants in the Wheaton area. I have been coming to this restaurant since 2015, when they first opened. Their menu is short and sweet, but my favorite item on their menu is their tacos. I love their beef, chicken and lengua tacos. The meat is always cooked to perfection and you also get a pretty big portion. You are definitely getting bang for your buck if you order the tacos. I also like their homemade juices. My favorite is their horchata and jugo de marañon. If you are looking for authentic, delicious and homemade Latin food, El Taco Loco is a must-try restaurant.

Tacos are fresh so it takes a few minutes, my favorite is the torta de chorizo with egg best torta I've ever had. I'm addicted to it now.

Solid tacos that are slightly a step up from what you'd find on a truck (this is a good thing), with a with a wide and diverse selection of fillings (go for the lengua, though it can be occassionally a bit dry). The tortas are also filling but very messy. Grab a couple extra napkins and chow down
Everything here is super affordable, with tacos running under $3 each and tortas $7. If not on foot parking can be a bit of a hassle, with street parking on congested University or Grandview your only options (find a county surface lot in downtown Wheaton and walk over or park in back). Note, the proprietors speak mainly (and sometimes only) Spanish. Bone up your skills before going in or be comfortable pointing. Totally worth it.
