Holy Chow

Very impressed and happy with our order. We had an office business lunch and ordered 7 business specials. The online ordering was super user friendly, and the delivery was exactly on time. All items were thoughtfully marked with each person's name. They really went the extra mile. The food was hot, tasty and as described on their menu. No better falafel on earth! Perfectly cooked falafels with very crunchy crust and soft moist tasty interior. Real pickled red cabbage, grilled eggplant, hummus, tahini, onions and pickle nestled in a fresh warm pita. I want to rush back in and get another. I once stood in line for 40 minutes to get a very special falafel in Paris. I was sure I’d never have one better. Till now. Holy Chow is the new world champion of falafel. Shout out to my new friend Shlomo. You were right little brother. Thank you. See you soon!

Ordered lunch for business meeting and really loved the food, and experience. Had to wait extra time for falafel….which was SOOO WORTH IT! Delicious, fresh, and the customer service was excellent, they apologized for the wait even though it was a way to get the freshest falafel! No worries Holy Chow, your food is delicious! Thank you

I finally got around to try out Holy Chow. I really liked the entrees. Tried the oriental hot dog and Wonton soup as well. My kids loved the soup, but I thought it was just OK. The soup is good value since you get a lot for your money, so I would still get it in the future. The oriental hot dog was over priced and not worth it. No one liked it. When I go back I will likely only order entrees since they are the tastiest and best value. Prices are just about right, maybe slightly high for what you get. The large portions are very large. My biggest issue with Holy Chow is that you can't place an order and pick it up in less than 30 minutes. I do not usually have time to plan to order an hour in advance. This is probably due to them being a new business, and I will happily adjust my review if I see an improvement in timeliness next time I try them out. I would definitely recommend getting takeout from Holy Chow. UPDATE 6/20: This time I tried several lunch specials, and they were ready 15 minutes after I called. Everything tasted good, and I thought the portions were actually good value. I tried chicken noodle soup, egg drop and hot and sour. All were good. UPDATE 12/21: They had to significantly increase their prices due to labor/food/investment costs which makes it very expensive. Still overall I would recommend holy chow when you are in the mood for chinese and keep kosher.

Great food with a decent price, and the best gluten/diet awareness I've seen at a Chinese food restaurant. They have many gluten free options and could explain clearly what was and wasn't possible. Both kids, celiac and not, loved it. They also have other diet-conscious options, and plenty for those that don't care about diet as well. High recommend.

Can't say enough good things about the food, this menu and how allergy conscientious the kitchen is! Best is to call to order hours in advance and pick up. Appetizers and soups are fast @ the counter. Shabbat preparation is the real deal here! Reheatable containers, tasty food and large portions. Call ahead, plan ahead. They get swamped. We get food from holy chow once or twice a month. The food is very good. On one occasion we were dissatisfied with a dish, and communicated this to the owners. They responded immediately and drove out to our home (quite a distance from the restaurant) to deliver a replacement dish, which was much better. Most restaurants do not deliver anything like that kind of service. Keep up the good work.

Update: After our previous review, the owner reached out to us and offered to re-make our meals. We decided to give them another chance, and boy are we glad we did! The food was great this time - everything from the sides to the main dishes were all fresh and delicious. On top of that, the owner came out to our car to talk to us and ensure that we’re happy. We really appreciate their customer service. It’s hard to find business owners these days who go above and beyond to make their customers happy. We highly recommend Holy Chow to anyone looking for amazing Chinese food and great customer service!
