Pegah's

Call me Mr. Picky cause I am very much so. This is truly the best family restaurant I have EVER eaten at. I'm not easily impressed. The food, is very well prepared, extensive choices on the menu. And I just love the way the staff treat you/me. It's kinda like we are all family and so glad you came. How can I help you. I'm 75 years old and it's been many years that these kinda restaurants existed. There are three locations in the Johnson County Kansas area. If your ever here and wondering where to get a great meal with 5 star service, Pegah's Family Restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Remember this name.

This is literally and old style family dinner, but with an updated motif. Always clean with fast service the menu is one of the most complete in the city. Breakfast, lunch or dinner hars to beat good old fashioned comfort food! I have gone there over 35 years (and a couple owners ) and the food remains the same.

Don't Doordash from here! I placed an order through Doordash on a Sunday night about 7:30pm. I received a text stating that they had received my order. At 8:07pm, I received another text. This one stating that Pegah's has cancelled my order. No reason given. I look the restaurant up on Google to see that they closed at 8:00pm. If you're going to close at 8:00pm then why would you confirm my order when I placed it at 7:30pm. I am shocked that they couldn't get my order ready in that 30 minute time frame for it to be delivered. But if we talked in the door at 7:30pm, I bet they would've served us still. Talk about disappointed. There are plenty of other places that will deliver in that time frame. On top of that, I won't get a refund of the money they took from me for 5-7 business day. What a shady way to do business. We'll take our business somewhere else.

Mostly elderly folk eat at Pegah's so the atmosphere, employees and customers are nice and respectable.The food is good but I think the combos could use a little more food on the plate for the price. I've only had breakfast food there but everything I've had so far was fair ( biscuits & gravy, eggs over easy, bacon, toast, coffee, and fully loaded omelet) The waitresses we're very attentive and quick and I'd definitely recommend them for breakfast because they serve breakfast much later than 10:30 am 7 days a week where other establishments only serve breakfast till 10:30 am and only on certain days of the week. 👍🤙
