Billy Boy Bar-b-que

The gentleman who took my order was very nice and patient. I ordered 1/2 combo dinner I wasn't a fan of the sweet potato salad, the beans tasted like can with extra ingredients (semi-homemade), okra was hot and good not full of grease from being fried. The rib was good but I like a fair amount of seasoning this was just simple salted rib kinda tasted fried. The sausage I was not a fan of but my husband liked it. The brisket was lightly seasoned with only salt I didn't get any other flavors although I did like it but was also a little on the dry side but maybe I went a little late in the day 4:19 pm. And for dessert I ordered a banana meringue pie it was good. I will definitely try it again upon opening to see if there is a difference in the meat being dry.

For roast beef it would be ok, for barbecue brisket a total fail. No smoke ring, little flavor, not barbecue. Accompanied by sad frozen frys from a box and some of the worst Mac and Cheese you've ever had the misfortune to encounter. You can still taste the grit from the undercooked starch in the cheese sauce. For the record, I like ribs with chew, but that is different than being tough. No smoke, little flavor, and what flavor they do have tastes like yesterday's special. Don't even bother with the house 'sauce,' tastes like a combination of hoisin and ketchup. Gag.

Great barbecue remember that they will put barbecue sauce on your food before it gets to the table unless you ask to get it on the side. I really liked the ribs and brisket. I got the combo plate it also came with ham. I was expecting little chunks of ham steak but instead I got shaved ham. Not quite what I was looking for but it was okay.
