Delicious. Everything was better than expected. I was a little scared of it being too spicy so I got the mild. But I definitely should have went with medium. The mild was good but had zero spice to it. Other than that I have no complaints. Yum!!
Lloyd the waiter was awesome and patiently explained the menu, provided extra hot sauces, and made us feel like we were the only ones in the resturant. Food was amazing, especially the pineapple rice, pad-see-ew, and larb.
Favorite restaurant in the area.My family and I work summers in pigeon forge and this is our favorite spot to eat by far.
We went to the Thai Palace based on Urban Spoon Reviews, spot on! Got the spring rolls, they were awesome. I had the basil eggplant with chicken, it was excellent. My girlfriend had the yellow curry, it was also delicious. One other thing, I got the sweet tea. Best I have had in this area! Literally like mom makes it! Looks like a cheapo Chinese buffet from outside, but in this case looks really are deceiving. Last note, very clean restrooms.
My husband and I LOVED IT! We got the Nam Tok and Basil Fried Rice with Pork!! I was happy we went there after seeing some Urban Spoon reviews. The medium is pretty hot even for a spicy food lover like me so go with medium or mild. I hope you enjoy!!!
Very very good food n service....
Superb!. Wonderful service, considering only one gentleman was running the entire restaurant alone! As a former waitress myself, I can only imagine how stressful that must have been! But he was very attentive and polite.
I loved the atmosphere, very relaxing considering the busy location. Authentic food, cooks from Bangkok. Prices were reasonable and dinner portions were a perfect healthy size. I had the green curry and Thai tea and was blown away. After trying several other Thai restaurants in the Knoxville and Sevierville areas, this was by far the best. Definitely give it a try! 10/10
We were looking for something that wasn't a "family fun" destination and a more interesting (and healthy) menu, so we tried Thai Palace. Even though situated in a strip mall between Ci-Cis and the Beef Jerky Outlet, we were willing to check it out based on other good reviews. We were very pleased that it was quiet and the food was excellent, even at an off time of day. We had spring rolls, Garlic Tofu stir fry and Red Curry with Chicken. Portions were generous but not overwhelming/ wasteful. All were ordered medium hot, but server brought extra spices for us, too. Much better than I would've imagined for this area! Would return here!
Best Thai food anywhere near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge! Must try the Basil stir fry! Love it!
One of our best meals EVER. My husband and I went last night and we both loved what we ordered. I ate all the onions, mushrooms, even some rice and I HATE those things. I got the Basil Chicken and he got something with curry. If you're new to Thai, keep in mind it's different than Mexican spicy. If you like hot Mexican, get medium Thai. Oh, and their website has a 10% off coupon.
Exceeded our expectations. Being there’s only 2 Thai restaurant in this town and we tried both, I would say this one is more authentic so don’t be fool by the lower star rating on Google.
The fried rice basil was nearly authentic and had good flavors. The pad Thai was also not bad.
The decor and ambience could be improved. We were quite surprise to only see 2 tables for a Sunday lunch time.
I had the pad Thai with tofu and I thought it was good. Fairly average. My friend got curry and she loved it.
Quite good Thai foods compared to other asian restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
No reservation is needed. Plenty of Park lot.
Northerner visiting the Smokies. I don't eat dairy, gluten or meat. I was struggling to find meals that I could eat. Felt fortunate to find this place and it did not disappoint. My yellow curry was delicious. Hubby had the fried rice and enjoyed it. Very reasonable pricing and prompt service. Would definitely recommend.
We were in pigeon forge Tennessee and looking for something different than barbecue so we found this little Thai restaurant in a strip mall. The restaurant wasn't crowded and we were able to walk right in. The hostess was very nice and seated us. Our food came out fresh and hot and we enjoyed everything we had. Definitely recommend this place!
After 2 days visiting Gatlinburg, we needed some kinds of Asian foods :-)
This restaurant was definitely a place to be.
Good food with reasonable price. Thai fried rice and shrimp tom-yum soup are awesome
4.5🌟 Good Thai food. Will come again.
We found this nice thai place when we were visiting the Smokies. We had Pad thai (very good) and rice with green basil soup (good). The portion size was on the smaller size but was enough. Service could have been faster. Overall, nice food. Will come again.
Craving Thai food, decided to give this place a try esp after the most recent reviews were good. Not many true vegan options (they can only do the curries without oyster sauce), so we ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and panang curry, veggies and tofu, hot. We were very impressed. Still hungry, we ordered another round of spring rolls and green curry. Both curries were good, but enjoyed the panang the most. Can’t comment on the rest of the options, but overall, would recommend for any vegetarian/vegan to give them a try!
Great vegan and vegetarian options. The food was tasty but not the best. The team did great serving us. The store has lots of purses for sale.
Food is amazing. Quiet place to eat. Service was quick. Would definitely recommend...
