Excellent dinner and great service. Our waiter as well as other staff were very friendly and took good care of us. Service was fast!
The steak Cinco de mayo is excellant, my favorite. Their cevichi is great too. If you can't take the heat make sure to ask for mild salsa. Best margaritas ever. Been going here for over 4 years, good food, good people, good location, good vibe. sherri@nglconnection

Not the best, but. Not the best Mexican restaurant in town but it's certainly not bad food. A little pricier than Mexican should be, but worth it.
Always good. The food here is always good, and the drinks are great. It seems they have a good event about every other month. Halloween party, Christmas party, etc. They are always a blast.
The food is good, but not spicy enough unless you ask for it in particular. The owners are great guys, and it is truly a family restaurant feel. I take business associates here regularly, and they always compliment the place.

Don Jose Mexican Restaurant in Sebring had a beautiful atmosphere and view of the lake. The service was spot on and we enjoyed our lunchtime. The wait time at 11:30 am was very short and there is ample parking for everyone including wheelchair parking. The entrees were very tasty and prices were reasonable. The fried ice cream was far too hard and difficult to eat; however it had a nice flavor. Would definitely recommend and will return.
Great food. Big space with a lot of tables. Fast service. Ok prices. Music was loud, but nothing to upset.
I loved the food. They seated us immediately. It was not super busy. The salsa tasted very good and was spicy. I had the Steak Pueblo. It was NY Strip Steak with garlic and onion. It was served with beans and rice. I would recommend coming here. They do have peanut butter in the mole though.

First visit to Don Jose. Took my sister, whose in a wheelchair, and we were accommodated very nicely. Ordered a hurricane drink, which I loved. My dinner was pollo El Rey. Absolutely delicious!
Everyone else enjoyed their food.
It does tend to get loud in the restaurant, which is a distraction for me. Would love to go back and sit out on the deck by the lake. The wait was too long, so we opted to sit inside. We had called to make reservations, but was told they were not taking reservations at this time for the weekends.
Food is presented well but the tamales were. REALLY dry. The food was good but nothing special. Service was very good. Staff was nice
Authentic Mexican food, beautiful restaurant next to the lake, great servers.

Complimentary chips and salsa to your table right after we sat down.
The food was tasty and a huge portion, what we greatly appreciated.
Vegetarian options are available what was a huge criterium by us, regarding we don’t eat meat.
If you are vegan you can also find great options for fulfill your requests and very satisfying drink menu matches with all of these.
Let me point out that they made a custom-made Margarita to me (extra spicy) and I l loved it. :-)
We’ll definitely go back to have another great lunch or dinner there.
This restaurant is located right on Lake Jackson with plenty of parking for vehicles and a large dock if you prefer to come via boat. They have a really good happy hour and some tasty entrees. The options for interior or exterior dining are plentiful.
