Great food. Big space with a lot of tables. Fast service. Ok prices. Music was loud, but nothing to upset.
I loved the food. They seated us immediately. It was not super busy. The salsa tasted very good and was spicy. I had the Steak Pueblo. It was NY Strip Steak with garlic and onion. It was served with beans and rice. I would recommend coming here. They do have peanut butter in the mole though.
Wonderful experience. Great lunch with friends and the food and service were perfect! Could not imagine better.
Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Service quick and checked on me during the meal with several employees. Food was very good. Prices were ok.

This restaurant is located right on Lake Jackson with plenty of parking for vehicles and a large dock if you prefer to come via boat. They have a really good happy hour and some tasty entrees. The options for interior or exterior dining are plentiful.
Three of us ordered the steak fajitas for lunch. They were pricey, but after we bit into the steak, we understood why! Literally tge BEST steak fajitas any of us have ever had!!! Cute Mexican restaurant with good food and service. We ate on the patio overlooking the water which was lovely. I thought for the price they should have been more flexible. I got 3 tacos for $11 and they wouldn't let me mix and match. They also didn't include sour cream which was sad.

They have a hidden charge for the mild salsa. Only $1 per order, but didn't tell us. Your obligated to eat the hit salsa which is free, but if you prefer the mild you will be charged.
Great yummy food service was fast too. There was 30 of us they didn't mess up anything on our order. Some of the best tamales I've ever had
I'm a fan of Mexican food. First time in Don Jose Mexican and I loved it 😍 The restaurant is really beautiful, the tables, seats, everything looks amazing and clean. Customer service was great, friendly staff and my waitress even recommended one of his favorite plates. I ordered and it was yummy!
The food and atmosphere is great. Sometimes the service isn't as great. You might have to flag someone down to get a drink refill. But other times it's pretty good service. I'm not sure if it just depends on the day/time or server.
