Hippizzazz

I rate this a 4.5, but would have given it a higher rating (see comments at the end of my review). The food was very good and the customer service was great. My only complaint was with the online order menu was a bit deceptive. It appeared I could order a half of a pizza, which I proceeded to do, but the store called me to inform me that I can't. The pizza items that show up as half on the menu are for ordering a half and half pizza, i.e., a whole pizza that has different ingredients on each half. I wish the menu had a note stating that. What is confusing is that they show a price next to the item listing for the half pizza, which is half the cost of the whole pizza and that led me to believe I could order a half. That said, based on the excellent service and quality of the food, which was very tasty, I would definitely order from this place again. I liked the Al Zone (their offshoot of a calzone) and the deep dish pizzas, pesto bread, wings, Pep Pizza and salads were all very good.

These guys can whip up a pizza. And you can even get it by the slice. Which I find very hard to get in Sonoma County. I live in Santa Rosa and don’t mind driving to Sebastapol for Hipizazz pizza. It’s worth it. And the prices are much better than the “other guys”. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

It was good overall pizza, one problem I had was the taste, it barely had taste at all and I had to put a ridiculous amount of Parmesan cheese to even get any taste. One more problem I had was the crust, it was very very crunchy, then again we got a deep crust, Overall I feel like an honest rating for me is 4/5 stars and 7.5/10.

If you love real pizza with great dough that transforms itself into great crust, you will love Hippaźazz. Pizza is about the crust. If you have been to Italy and experienced hand-thrown pizza dough transformed into a basis for building additional ingredients that honor the crust, you will enjoy Hippazzazz. The toppings do not overpower or dominate the crust, but rather, they enhance the crust.
