No.9 Alley Hot Pot

I’ve always known about this place for a while and wanted to try it since it was so close to my house. I came in and noticed that all you can eat was only at a certain time. So I decided just to try Ordering the food which happened to be a bit expensive compared to all you can eat, I would return maybe for all you can eat otherwise I would come back. The place is small and was kind of empty so the service was pretty good with that. The quality of the food on the other hand was pretty good, my favorite was the marinated beef. The parking lot is pretty big and it’s right off the freeway next to Aurora. The Max spicy broth is very spicy for me, it was good but I wouldn’t get it because it’s spicy. The white colored broth on the other hand was pretty good it was not bland. I would come back if the prices were cheaper as I was still hungry afterwards.

I came here a lot before and love the food here though it is pretty pricey, the service was good. Before I was normally served by a cute waitress with the black glasses. She was so nice and polite, also she was super friendly with my kids. The server served me now did not do as well and don’t really pay attention at all. Our broth and water out for at least 20 minutes and they still do not even notice. (Normally they have to go around check and fill em up) Now I had to ask for more. Also I asked the girl server for two little bowl for my kids and she never get it for us.

If there’s no star I will choose zero star. When we ordered chili for dipping sauce, the chili they bring to us have mildew inside. The waitress apologize and change it. Then after we pick up the mushrooms， there’s hair come with it. So we call the waitress again, she offer change one plate mushroom for us, but who wants to keep eating from a pot of hair soup. After all, the hotpot food wasn’t fresh, flavor wasn’t good, with all the stuff I don’t know how come them can still run the business.

I went here really often like one or two month before the waitress here was super nice and polite and helpful but recently when I came back to the restaurant expecting a good service, and the servers here make me so disappointed. They are just super rude and slow. Not even fill up the broth when I asked. Keep saying that they will come back with the broth and napkins and never actual give me. Never come back to this restaurant.
