Authentic and high quality ingredients. Reasonable pricing and portion sizing--pretty sure the meat portions are bigger than at the popular hot pot place down the street. Nice dipping sauce bar. Very friendly, quick, and attentive service. Definitely take the server's advice when choosing how spicy you'd like your broth. I noticed when I went that they had forgotten to turn on their "Open" sign, so don't assume they're closed if the sign's not on. Added bonus: Air conditioning! Unlike a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, you can keep cool while you eat.

Hot pot king is the real deal authentic Chinese hot pot, think melting pot restaurant but chinese. We had split broth mild and Sichuan spicy (beware, the 3 star is closer to 5 at other places you may be used to). The service was very friendly and ordering was a breeze, just check the boxes on the menu and it all comes out for you to cook to your liking. Will definitely go again.

This hot pot place is definitely top 3 in Seattle. They just improved the ingredients of spicy pot and it turns out very well! Tips: 1. Order above 5 stars to get the lovely bear(beef oil)! 2. Must order 麻辣土豆絲 （spicy potato/cold plate). 3. Order 蛋麵（fresh noodle). Cook it in spicy pot. Mix it with green onion, 芝麻醬 （sesame paste), soy sauce and garlic paste.

Great food and all you can eat. Somewhat pricey for hot pot but overall good quality. They even have dim sum options and they're yummy! You need to ask quickly for anything extra you need like a side of rice or dipping sauce because runners drop and go! I went with a friend around 7 PM and there was a minimal wait on a Tuesday. Would go again!
