They are still working through renovations, but the food and drinks are on point! Great staff working hard to make everyone have a great time. Love the new music nights and karaoke on Fridays. Love the Chicken and Waffles!
Great place! Love the lighthouse decor and ambiance. Bartenders/waitstaff were friendly, diligent, cheerful and sweet, and took care of everyone. There were customers who came in from across the street after being dissatisfied with the service over there. They appreciated the friendly professional service at the Lighthouse in contrast. I live quite a ways north and typically wouldn't be in that area to experience this place, but my new band was hired to play there. We got to watch the Sounders win the cup, right before we took the stage-nice set up for bands, btw. I ran into a customer who knew a relative who lives in the area. I would recommend this charming spot to anyone looking for an enjoyable evening, watch sports on the giant screen, Karaoke, jam night, or live music!
This seems like a cool place, but we didn’t end up staying to super find out. It was a sunny day and we were looking for the perfect deck overlooking the water. Des Moines’s has a lot of spots in lighthouse lounge would’ve been one of them but the patio is very small and it was already overtaken by group of eight people that seem to all know each other. It seems like you can hang on the actual lighthouse itself but the patio is at the parking lot level down below and I’m not sure that there’s access on the very fun landmark that is the Lighthouse lounge.

Great place for food and drinks. It's a sports vibe but with pull tabs and decent beer. Wish they had other tequila options as their only mezcal is quite premium. Touch tunes if that's your thing. Easy parking and a nice patio
Great service!everyone,customers included are wonderful...a varied lot of different folks,but all friendly,receptive and easy to talk to.excellent drinks and the only bar I've experienced of late that is affordable!great neighborhood.

Our bartender ange was sweet and charismatic, she recommended the homemade jalapeño poppers and they did NOT disappoint. We also had the JJs burger with dip, cheese burger and BLT and everyone I was with happily ate their entire meal. This place gives you all the fun vibes of a dive without sacrificing the quality of food. Friendly staff and honestly really friendly patrons as well. We wish we could've stayed longer to play pool or darts but we had so much fun!

I always get fun here, nice place, nice staff!i got a Swiss cheese Mushroom Burguer with fries! Was really good and tasty and i made it s combination with a Mac & jacks beer!

Met a buddy here on a Friday afternoon because it's equidistant from our houses. First, the bartender, Angie, was amazing. She had a large and raucous group of locals completely under control. She was extremely efficient, fun, positive, and had a confident management of her bar. We initially felt like we were interlopers in a locals spot where everyone knows everyone, but all of the locals and regulars made us feel welcome. Don't be intimidated by this dive bar, it's a great spot!
The food wasn't good, but the service was good. The drinks are good and the crowd was cool.
