Best wine shop & bar in town � The owner knows & hand picks all of the wines sold & served in the shop. She has impeccable taste I should add.. Amazing wine, Bev always has great recommendations and her combined level of integrity and fun is far above any other place I have ever been too. If I want wine, I go here. The bar in the back almost feels undiscovered. So comfortable and not noisy or pushy.
Good selection of bottles here. I usually get my port here as they carry almost exclusively Kopke. There’s also a wine bar in back that has a piano player sometimes. Wines by the glass are moderately priced and good value. Small bites. Nice place for a quiet drink before dinner or a movie.
I have been patronizing Sixth Avenue for several years and have always had excellent service and enjoyed their delicious selection of wine! They make excellent recommendations when asked to pair with a certain food or what to bring to a wine tasting. I feel so at home in there, they even greet me by name when I come in. It's always a pleasure to be part of this family!
Pretty much family run and you can tell! The staff is SUPER friendly, they have fun events like Thirsty Thursdays or the occasional viewing of an event (Games, award shows, etc). Bev, the owner, has always been spot on with her wine suggestions. If you don't find what you want, they can usually order it for you.
A nice selection of reasonably, as well as special occasion, priced wines. The woman who helped me was very nice and friendly. She gave me space to browse but was also tentative enough if she saw me lingering and answer any questions.
Great wee wine bar. One of our highlights of our trip to Seattle. Worth a visit to taste some fine wines after a busy days shopping.
