Katy's Corner Cafe

The folks working here are awesome. The music is often excellent. We're lucky to have this café in our neighbourhood! There are a decent handful of vegan options, and I hope to see that trend continue in the future. Proud to support this business and thankful for the ways they support everyone in this community, too.

What a charming little spot that really showcases this close-knit neighborhood. I stopped by this afternoon and worked for about an hour at a sunny table. I was delighted by the number of regulars who came in while I was there, many with their dogs who often hopped up on the bench outside and poked their faces through the open window, looking for something from the big jar of treats on the counter. The staff was friendly, the coffee was excellent, the vibe was chill, the playlist was divine. What more could anyone ask from a neighborhood coffee shop? 100% would return if I lived here.

This is the kind of place that makes Seattle so great. Out of the bustle, in a neighborhood and frequented by locals--unapologetically imbued with it's own personality. Stopped by on the way out of the city and had a DELICIOUS breakfast bagel and coffee. Hard to find a good bagel in Seattle, and this was good. Super nice people and just the best of Seattle's spirit. Go here, have a relaxing bite to eat, and be happy.
