Amazing Customer Service - I moved to Ballard few months ago. Every single time I have been here the customer service has been outstanding, very engaged, authentic conversation. Ownership/accountability - i had a problem with the app, Fia one of the Barista's just apologized for the experience, verified my purchase, got my drink, rather than just say "sorry we dont see it in our system" - which is what has happened in other locations. I was working in the corner, sunlight hitting my screen - within 5 mins of me opening my laptop the store manager (i think) walked by and asked if he should pull the blinds down to reduce the glare (just forgot his name) You might read this and say "as it should be", but having been to many Starbucks, I can say it is not and this location has one of the best customer experiences.

The service is pretty good and efficient. The sitting area is nice. The bar seating along the windows is excellent, even though the chairs can be a bit back-breaking. There's also a small outdoor seating area out front. So, all in all, what one'd expect a Starbucks to be. Due to the location, they get a lot of business. Meaning this store is high-wear. The staff does its best to keep up. And they do pretty well. Have witness a couple of times where they had to deal with difficult situations, and I thought they did a good job.

In the heart of downtown Ballard resides this Starbucks location. Filled with a combination of larger tables for groups or shared seating, smaller tables as well a few rows of bar style seating, it can seat quite a few coffee lovers. This location has their Clover coffee, nitro, cold brew, as well as all the usuals you’d expect from Starbucks.

The only Starbucks in this area so it gets very busy sometimes. Friendly helpful staff although service might slow down. The shop enjoys a great location in an interesting older building in town. You might want to avoid the seats that can be uncomfortable from the sunshine with no shades on the windows.
