Best croissant in Seattle. I'm not loca. Whenever I fly into a place I go croissant hunting (you simply need to have a fave croissant in every city). For Seattle it used to be The London Plane but they seem to have closed since the pandemic and after trying a few I've arrived at Sea Wolf and you know immediately from the look of the folds and the shape that it's going to be top quality. But then, you bite into it and the crisp layers are truly perfect, the butter can be tasted and it's nicely balanced, beautiful soft fluffy honeycomb interior, they could do no better. Get a coffee, have a seat outside in the sun. There's probably other things worth getting but unfortunately for me I had already been a few pastries into my day already. Also, they deliberately don't ask for tips, instead making sure they price to pay workers fair and accordingly, which is always morally commendable. I'll be back next for more next time I'm in town.

Some of our favorite restaurants use Sea Wolf bread, and we’ve always enjoyed the high quality, so we stopped by the bakery to try the croissants and pain au chocolate. Another reviewer compared these Sea Wolf offerings to grocery store croissants, and I couldn’t disagree more! My croissant left a huge, beautiful mess of flakes on the plate—always such a good sign—and had gorgeous layers. Such a satisfying bite! Thank goodness, too, because unless you’re lucky enough to live within walking or biking distance of this highly popular, highly populated neighborhood, parking is going to be a chore.

Delicious fresh baked breads and a variety of sweet and savory pastries with a lovely Cafe inside. I love coming here for the baguettes and chocolate croissants but they have so many other things I've yet to try. Everything I have tested out has been delicious. All their breads have been top notch. I'm super picky about baked goods due to allergies to certain kinds of flour, but I haven't had any issues with items from here at all. They also have some lunch/sandwich options and outdoor seating as well if you feel like soaking up some of that taste Seattle sunshine. Staff is always super helpful in helping you find what it is you need. They also have a small selection of local beers and wines for sale in addition to local dairy items if that's your jam. (But sadly no jam).

The best bread in Seattle with excellent pastries. A must visit each time I visit Seattle. Some favorites are the savory lye pretzel bun, savory croissant with seasonal toppings and the plain or chocolate croissant. Tried the croissant brittle on this visit and I'd give that a pass as parts of it were not cooked to a crispy texture and was very sticky, which almost pulled off my crown and stuck to the other parts of my teeth.

Cinnamon roll — amazing. It was HUGE, large enough to split between two people. Great for a breakfast date. We got it without the frosting and it wasn’t too sweet you could really taste the flavors without an overload of cinnamon sugar. It is a must get if you come to this place. We also got the scone of the day, I devoured that. And a lye roll. Boyfriend had some hesitations on the lye roll since he hadn’t ever had one, but was pleasantly surprised, it was nice and soft and pretzel-y on the inside. Drinks, we’ll this is a bakery not a coffee shop. Looks cute and instagramable in these super cute cups, tastes just ok. If you’re a coffee nut 🙅‍♀️ this is not the place for you.

Edit: So I went back for their focaccia and it is legit. I don’t even like olives and still ate the whole thing. Vinaigrette pizza was good too, if a little salty. It was the “cafeteria style” with flat and crispy bottom. Previously… Their cinnamon roll was $7.85 and they charged $1.15 for the frosting. This could have been excusable if it had been tasty but instead it was greasy and dry. The long line outside must’ve been for their bread because this cinnamon roll was not it.

I arrived shortly after it opened at 7 AM and there was already a line! This place is definitely worth checking out. I ordered the sprouted rye loaf (super dense, seeded loaf great for toast), savory lye roll with sauerkraut, plain croissant, and cinnamon roll. The croissant was good, but Temple Pastries’ croissant is still my favorite so far. The cinnamon roll is hefty! Love the lamination and butteriness of the roll. I’ll certainly be back to try their other offerings!

Great ambiance and nice outdoor patio space. The croissant was fresh and warm with a buttery, flakey finish. The savory lye roll was good but not as flavorful throughout as hoped.

An amazing bakery for an amazing location. We got the cinnamon roll and focaccia. Both were delicious. I would say the cinnamon roll could have been softer and would have been better with a glaze.

Great bakery; probably the best in Seattle! Anything you get is great — can’t go wrong ! Note: coffee is not on par with the baked goods’ quality.
