Being from the south, it was interesting to find a place that served chicken and biscuits in Seattle. As you walk in, visible flames from the pizza oven are eye catching on the right side of the view, while the Deli-style counter on the left gives you an entirely different perspective. It’s like 2 different restaurants, but the clash works from a vibe and Devore point of view. Great service and wood fired pizza is always something that I enjoy. My chicken and biscuits were good and the strawberry jam was good, but I wish that they had more vegetable side options and it was a bit pricey. I would offer 4.4 and warm thanks for a nice experience.

The pizza was delicious and I went during the happy hour (3-6 pm). During this time, you can get two mini pizzas for less than the price of an entire one. The left one was especially delicious. I would highly recommend this place. You can make it a detour from your Amazon HQ audio tour.

I can't imagine the amount of food I downed at these joint. It's that good! Love the ambience, friendly wait staff, and superb pizzas and desserts.. oh yeah.. should have said first - excellent collection of draft beer and other drinks! I left with great memories.

#allergygirl what service I got today!!!! A custom meal! Wow! It is the rare person who tries so hard be sure they can accommodate. Thank you Edward!!! The chef took one of their signature biscuits layered fennel sausage, cheese, collard greens and fried green tomatoes. It was definitely a new experience for me. As a fresh food health eater I just blew it but it was worth it. Thinking it might was a bit dry and not wanting to get poked with a fork reaching into my companions plate Edward happily brought a side of gravy.

I have only been here for breakfast, and am planning ongoing back for pizza soon. The vegetarian sandwich with egg was incredible and a wonderful mixture of favors and textures. The biscuit is so light and fluffy, while still being easy to eat with your hands. The atmosphere is chill and comfortable, just make sure to get here early or be willing so wait in a bit of a line.

I actually had never visited any Tom Douglas restaurants. I had heard good things about their coconut cream pie, so I stopped into the SLU location to grab a slice to go. The person who greeted me was nice enough and took my order quickly. I was appalled with how long it took to get a slice of pie to go though. I think it took 20 minutes. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, it was in between lunch and dinner and there were a lot of empty tables. I’m not sure why it would take as long as it did. As for the pie it tasted pretty good. It was light and airy in places and rich in others. It was pretty pricey at $12 a slice though. I would consider getting it again but if I felt flush with cash. I would consider returning as well for their pizza.

We got our pizzas to go and even after 20min or so if it sitting out, I still think this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. 4th time having serious pie and it’s still our number 1! We’re from Vancouver and we have some really good pizza here, but nothing as good as Serious Pie! I just wish the pizzas were larger though... One pizza is an ‘ok’ size for 2 people to share if ur slightly hungry, but if ur really hungry get one each!

I have always loved biscuits & gravy, it’s just that I had very little of them in this Seattle trip. So when it was time to meet a long time friend in SLU, we both picked Serious Pie & Biscuit. Better still, during their happy hour. Strictly no complaints on the excellent food served here, I loved the half pizza, the Fennel Sausage & Wild Mushrooms. The sausages were too good I kept longing for more. The mushrooms with truffle oil, the best I had in Seattle. The mushrooms were chunky & too good to be had on the flatbread. We were seated in the 2nd level & we could see the Pie Kitchen from atop. It was a pleasure, watching them make pies for their thanksgiving preorders, the whole place was filled with aromas of cinnamon & apple, though they were making pecan & pumpkin pies as well. Too bad that they dont retail them in this outlet, I might have to head to Dhalia Bakery for that. And the biscuits & gravy were served only until 3PM so I missed that as well. Little disappointed, but the flatbreads made up for that. But overall a great place to hangout with friends & family, their thanksgiving brunch is on the 24th, do check them out.

A great place in South Lake Union to have pasta or pizza dishes. They also have a bar you can hangout at with your friends. A 20% gratuity is charged on all sales, bear that in mind. That also means you don’t have to tip. Easily accessible by bus, tram or share ride. Parking is hard to find during the day since it is close to the Amazon campus in SLU.

1 Biscuit to rule them all! Waist expanding quality food and fantastic service. The hostess, Alexa was extremely helpful assisting my Sister who had a broken foot to the 2nd floor dining space. The staff then assaulted our taste buds with plate after plate of deliciousness. We will be back and next time I'll have elastic in my pants.
