I just had a really good breakfast burrito and coffee from there. Vibe inside is nice too.

A very good vibe, local cafe. One of the most popular one in U District.

Absolutely love that they have a quiet patio area out back! Super tasty coffee ☕️

Good coffee, good prices, cool space to hang out and get some work done. Haven't tried the food but it looks and smells delicious. I got, on the baristas recommendation, an iced oatmilk latte with honey and cinnamon. Tastes like cinnamon toast crunch! A really nice little place that's leaps and bounds more pleasant and tasty than the incredibly busy (why?) Starbucks a block away. The place is pretty much always bustling but the service is super quick. Definitely my new spot to hang out in between classes. Probably isn't a great place to do your math homework as it's a bit loud.

I happened upon this café by chance, and it was one that I have not regretted. Cafe Solstice had a quiet atmosphere that I enjoyed being present in. I sat at a table for awhile and finished some work, wrote some letters, and read from a book within the same morning visit. What was helpful was the communal dish return area and having a water refill station to use, I could practice autonomy and not have to ask for extra help when I could do these tasks for myself. The food was tasty, and a little expensive, I paid $23 for two sandwiches and a slice of banana bread after tax. I would probably come back again, in my experience, it can be difficult to find quiet spaces.

Love this place. Hasn't changed much from a decade ago. Brought the kids for pastries and delicious coffee. Good music and fantastic art

My favorite cafe on the ave! Cori is always so nice to me and the coffee is amazing. Especially hot coffee - they steam it well and do latte art:)

A cool place to chill and have a cup of coffee. Not sure why they served hot coffee in a glass though.
