John and his family at Cedars offer one of the most affordable meals in the University District, with a smile and kind words. An unbeatable experience, order at the outside window if in a hurry!

Very small business, but excellent food with friendly people and very quick service. Close to the university on the Ave, and easy to get to by the light rail. Don't try and drive.

You know when you enter a place and can just feel that the people are good? Well this is one of them. I left feeling more hope for and trust in humanity. And in addition, the food was downright outstanding. High high recommendation.

This place was amazing. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. Very laid back and cozy atmosphere so if you are looking for the fancy shmansy vs just good food this place prob not your vibe. We loved it. Food was delicious. We will be back for sure!

Such a delicious meal in a cozy spot! The man and woman who greeted me were warm, friendly, and inviting. The lamb gyro was delicious and very generously filled. The fries were also hot and crispy, generous portion as well. Will definitely return!

Coming here you will be treated as if you are family by everyone and I can confidently say that this is the best gyro that I have ever had. A touch of hot sauce, and a slightly crisped wrap on the outside mixed with all of the love that went into making it is unmatched in this area. This is my first ever review of a restaurant, and this one is definitely deserving of more stars than just 5. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone far and wide.

Very nice people are running this small sandwich shop. Food is tasty, preparation might take a little long as there are only 2 people prepping for a bunch of customers. Prices are very reasonable. Food can be spicy

The lady serving me was very nice, but I asked for a gyro combo (listed in the window) she told me she could do it but I would have to be charged for the wrap, the fries and the drink separately which was almost $20! I told her I would just take the wrap. The wrap was a little bit disappointing...the meat was pressed into strips, not carved off like other gyro meat. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad tasting, just not what I expected for such a highly rated restaurant

Excellent food!! Server was kind and friendly, knowledgeable regarding the different foods. Atmosphere was typical of places in Seattle where you can sit at the street or inside. Prices are moderate. Will Definitely go there again!

The tiny window is sooo cute and warm! The owner is pretty nice and welcoming, and enthusiastic and confident about his dishes. When he was preparing my dish, he said the spice would make the meat so good. It turns out, yes he’s right =) I had a lamb and beef gyro. The meat is moderately marinated( the meat in Aladdin is a bit over marinated sometimes) and the parsley flavor is a surprise! The pita is grilled, slightly crispy outside and soft inside. Will come and try other dishes again!
