Haven't had deep dish pizza in about 17 years, and this was a fantastic reintroduction. The flavor hits you right away and immediately distinguishes itself from other pizza restaurants. The inside has a nice sitting area with bar, and the outside offers the ambiance of a gritty industrial mission in Grand Theft Auto (but in a good way). Definitely give this place a try

It really does feel like a drug deal- 1. Email a request to order a pizza 2. if they accept your request, they give you a time and an intersection to meet them at. 3. When you get there, don't park in the lot, just hang out at the intersection and send them a text letting them know that you're there. They'll bring it out to your car. Now, the pizza... it is absolutely the best pizza I've had in years and possibly the best crust I've ever had. I'll drive 30 minutes each away to get it again. But they should really open a place in North Seattle...

Delicious pizza (4 ⭐️). A little too much bread for me, but legit may be the best pizza sauce I’ve ever had. Smooth, slightly sweet, robust ripe tomato flavor. The thin crust was perfect. Drinks were awesome (hot toddy please!). The Chicago pizzas were delicious and worth trying. I’ll order little more cheese/sauce/toppings next time. Texture of the crust was great too. This is a 4.5 star review all things considered.

This place is a hidden gem in Phinney Ridge. We ordered a large pizza and it was enough for four people. Pizza was so rich with tasty flavors. Friendly staff, cozy environment to spend time with your family and friends. Highly recommend to try it.

My husband and I wanted to try Chicago style deep dish pizza so we chose to visit Windy City Pie. This place is spacious with lots of table for bigger groups. We visited on a Friday and this place was buzzing with only good vibes. The waitress who helped us find a table was very warm and nice. We asked her for vegetarian pizza options and she suggested fennel destination and 4 peppers. We chose fennel destination because of the toppings. Fennel destination had Chèvre in it which is basically goat cheese. I am not a fan of goat cheese. So the waitress converted our fennel destination into build your own pizza minus the Chèvre. It took close to 30 minutes for the pizza to come but there were some board games in this place which kept us pretty occupied. Pizza was delicious. It’s a lot for 2 people and we saved some leftover for us. Pizza was fresh, flavorful, juicy and loaded. I am going to go again for sure. Totally loved the prep. They have got good beverage collection too. I say this because this was one of the few place where I found non alcoholic beer. All in all don’t stop yourself from visiting the place and make the most out of it.

A very different deep dish pizza typically when I think of deep dish the sauce is the star of the show however, this pizza is very very doughy. I got the pepperoni and it is very similar to pizza from Central market now town and country if you go here, you have to get the tavern pizza it is far better than the deep dish. Just had another pie on 10/29/23 seems to be if you order a full pepperoni pie it’s more Chicago style however still very very bready. Just know that when ordering. The thin crust is nice.

Solid pizza! Serving both bar style pie and Chicago deep dish. The topping options didn’t overly excite me but overall a better than average pizza place in Seattle.

Awesome pie! I have never been to the Windy City but if the pies here represent the Windy City, I need to go! We had the Beers by Shrute salad and the Mama Mia pie- The people here were very friendly and recognized prior customers. I also had the traditional shot of malört- which kinda reminds me of absinthe and the night was memorable!

Super yummy pizza! They greet you with a genuine smile. High quality ingredients. We tried the thin crust one as it takes less than the deep dish one, but next time we will dare to wait! You can’t go wrong.

Very good pizza; it's unique and different from what you'd typically call Chicago-style. It's certainly Chicago inspired though, and reminded me of a little slice of home.

Fabulous pizza and I’m a Chicago girl. Best deep dish I’ve had in years. The sauce was perfect. Very reminiscent of Lou Malnatis.

Have been getting their deep dish for a while and enjoyed it, but their new tavern style is OUT OF THIS WORLD. If you're familiar with this true Chicago style pizza, you will certainly appreciate it as they nail the form. But even if you're not, this qualifies as maybe the best thin crust pizza I've had in Seattle. I tried both the sausage and the pepperoni variety and they were equally good. Can't go wrong with either, but you should probably just get both. The beet salad was also really good.
