Chinook's is one of a handful of wonderful "anchor" restaurants on the water in Seattle. It's been here forever and is a favorite go-to for their seafood—always fresh! Chinook's is always excellent, from the food to the service to the views. It's a no-rush experience, also, where you can really enjoy having conversations while making your way through a leisurely lunch or dinner. Try their dessert, too. The blackberry cobbler and key lime pie are to die for!

Everything was magnificent! Our server, Brian, was awesome! He gave us suggestions and explained things since we'd never been there. My husband ordered a heart of romaine salad and a bowl of oyster stew and I had a dinner plate with salmon and a crab cake. I thought the oyster stew was pretty strong but my husband loved it.

Started with light and flakey perfectly cooked calamari. Got the blackened Rockfish tacos with mango and Pineapple salsa. Delicious. And a large piece of bread pudding that was rich and light and custardy. Just the right sweetness without being to heavy.

The all you can eat prawns were fabulous! And I had the wild coho on an alder plank with sweet, red bell pepper bure blanc sauce, potatoes and asparagus. We finished supper with a huckleberry cobbler a la mode dessert! SCRUMPTIOUS! Favorite restaurant for the last 30 yrs!

Best New England-style clam chowder I’ve ever had and I’m from New England (so I have both love and hate that). Wild Alaska Salmon Fish and Chips also fire. Bartender was great, don’t remember his name.

The food was delicious. I ordered the Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Fettuccine. I thought it was going to be mostly pasta, but was surprised at how much seafood was mixed in. Every single bite had plenty of seafood. The bread they brought me was so good that I asked for more. Will definitely be coming back.

A very traditional American seafood restaurant. Foods are prone to have more fat and sugar, though I think fresh seafood is best with lightly seasoning and least cooking. They are not bad, but the cooking method kind of wastes the fresh seafood. The price is fair for seafood.

Amazing seafood on Salmon Bay. The fish is fresh and expertly prepared. From Salmon to ham it to cod, the food was delicious. While not inexpensive, it's offered great value. It's quite noisy when full so it's hard to have a conversation. Probably a better choice for dinner with friends than for a romantic dinner.

Chinooks is a local institution known for a decent seafood menu and its location at fishermans terminal. I've been coming here for nearly 2 decades now ever since I relocated to Seattle. In my opinion the best menu items here are the clam chowder and the grilled fish. The fresh oysters are good on a sunny day with a cocktail. Dinner on the weekends are busy so expect a long wait for a table if you don't have a reservation.
