Seriously one of the best meals I have ever had. Service was excellent but the food was so exceptional the service didn't even matter. Husband had the hangar steak and snow peas. I had the kafta flatbread sandwich. We had hummus and flatbread. Everything was exceptional. I can't recommend it highly enough. Awesome casual atmosphere. Drinks were great, too. We can't wait to go back.
This was an incredible meal. We all ordered the chef's choice meal. What the chef chose for us was seven courses consisting of small plates of things like grilled peas in the pod in an Asian influenced sauce, and another of grill-blackened cheese and tomatoes. The eighth course was a larger plate of grilled chicken, beef, pork, and chorizo with 4 dipping sauce's. All this with housemade hot flatbread and remarkable housemade olives.
Great casual spot with grilled meats and incredible vegetable dishes. They use a large charcoal barbeque out back to cook everything and service was quick.
The hanger steak was incredible and better than those fancy steakhouses. All of the vegetable dishes were outstanding and so well composed.
The asparagus dish and carrot dish were the stars.
It's a bit pricey, especially if you want extra sauces or drinks, but the quality of the food is top notch and worth the price.
Unpretentious. A gem in Georgetown we love. Multiple shareable appetizers or add on grilled options with sauces and flatbread. Great options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Save some space for a delicious dessert.
A hidden gem in Georgetown. Their tapas style menu is focused on meats & vegetables cooked perfectly over a charcoal grill. Their flavors are influenced from Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, and the entire Mediterranean region. So in short - mix and match the small plates, meats, and sauces and get immersed in their flavors.
We ordered the following items and everything trust me everything was delicious.
1. Appetizers: flatbread and dip(hummus, labneh & baba ghanoush), saffron cauliflower (apricot and date molasses), patatas bravas, grilled kofta (mind blowingly delicious)
2. Entree: Tahini marinated chicken thighs & Shawarma spiced shrimp. Both the chicken and shrimp were beyond amazing and so flavorful and perfectly cooked.
3. Dessert: Labneh Panna Cotta (this was my least favorite dish of the night but still good) & Flourless Chocolate Cake (they do their flourless cakes right)
4. Drinks: Their drinks menu is innovative with beets, carrots and burnt honey. We tried Roasted beet margarita, Hey rhu-barbie!, Spiced apple sangria, Oh bee-have
It is a nice quaint casual spot. Service was amazing. Parking can be a little painful but you find a spot around the block. I can see this place have a wait time for weekends which is why we chose a weekday. Highly recommend this place when in Seattle.
Small but perfectly formed restaurant behind a steel door. The food and drinks are very very good
Best meatballs outside of Spain and Italy - soft and not chewy, aromatically spiced and perfectly presented.
Eclectic cocktail menu, the drink guru really knows what she is doing, and has the ingredients to show off her skills.
Fun place for a business lunch, or a catch-up with friends.
Wow!! So good! A friend and I split three appetizers with two 1/4 lb meats and it was a great size! There was some left over but we weren’t mad. We enjoyed the carrots, potatoes and Kofta appetizers. AMAZING DONT EVEN MAKE ME PICK A FAV. We also had the chorizo sausage which blew my mind and the chicken. Everything was so good. She had the Oh Bee Have cocktail and I had the Smoky Watermelon Paloma. Both great. Loved it here!
this place was much of a shock for how good the food tasted vs where its at and what the surrounding areas look like. glad we went here. every dish was delicious and had unique combinations i had never tried before. service wasnt great but the food was so good that it didnt matter.
One of my all time favorite restaurants in the Seattle area! I've dragged many friends down to Georgetown and they've always thanked me for it afterwards. It has a fantastic vibe (I usually describe it as a speakeasy behind a butcher shop) with amazing food and the service is usually great. They don't take reservations and seating inside is limited, so be prepared to wait or eat outside if it's busy. Be sure to try some of their signature cocktails while you're there!
We have had the most wonderful experience at this restaurant. This is my second time going back to this place, and I continue to be impressed by the quality of the food and the quality of the service. Myra, who is the head host there is an absolute delight. The staff work so hard behind the scenes to serve such delicious food - this is actually on the top of my list for every Seattle visit going forward!
OMG where do I even begin. We stumbled upon this place on our way to check in at our hotel in Seattle when coming from the airport. What a hidden gem!!! Service, ambience, and food were all around great. We wanted to order everything on the menu lol but decided to get 3 small plates (baba ghanoush, carrot, cauliflower) and 3 types of protein (shrimp, chicken, steak). Everything were so flavorful. Definitely will come back.
First time trying out this place. Liked the meat. Good drinks and staff was professional and helpful explaining the menu. Would definately try again and have a much better idea on what and how to order.
