Amazing pasta! Very delicious!! Made from scratch! My favorite was the Farm. Wife and kids had lasagna and pomodoro. All amazing!! Only downside is that seating is limited and the store next to this place has a strong scent that can make it difficult to enjoy the pasta. Excellent for takeout too.
Hidden Gem in Pike Place.
The staff was very nice. The pasta and it’s ingredients were fresh and delicious. Well seasoned, cooked perfectly.
Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area. One of the best dishes we have had while in Seattle.
Nested in Pike Place Market, Pasta Casalinga not only delights with its soft pasta and delectable pomodoro with chili oil but also offers a unique experience. The bustling market atmosphere adds charm, though be prepared for a 20-minute wait for your food. However, the wait is worthwhile, as the flavors and ambiance combine for a memorable dining experience.
First time visiting Seattle, this was on top of our list to try as we both love a well cooked and balanced pasta!
Sadly we arrived bit late where 3/5 dishes were already sold out, we ordered the pappardelle saffron cacio e pepe
Taste 0.5/1*
Pasta was very nicely cooked that it was still el dante, though sauce was very nicely seasoned, it was slightly on the salty side, sadly we did not taste much saffron, overall was tasty, balanced and with a nice chew
Value 1/1*
For those that love a perfectly homemade pasta, definitely recommend, just make sure to arrive early before the good dishes are sold out
Service 1/1*
Fast, friendly, and chill
Cleanliness 1/1*
Kitchen was right behind the register, clean!!
Overall/Revisit 1/1*
Would return to try other dishes
Paying for ambience? NO
Above and beyond? 1/+1*
I happened to walk by and asked the cook if the cookies were free (as there were free pins beside and cookies had no price), he happily said ‘no, but you can have one’
Absolutely delicious. I specifically sought out this place because of its hand made pasta and it did not disappoint. Great portion. Perfect pasta texture. I got "From the Garden" and it was rich but not heavy, how perfect. No fuss service where you get your own utensils and bus your plate. Easy. Highly recommend!
Some of the best pasta I've ever had in my entire life. The noodles are incredibly fresh, and the different sauces and combinations they had were unique and a true delight to eat. If there's one place you try around Pike Place, let it be Pasta Casalinga.
Definitely a take out kinda place, since seating is very limited and squishy. It’s also a bit hard to find, but once you do the pasta is 100% worth the effort. The staff are really friendly and the food is incredible. You can actually see them hand making all the pasta right in front of you. They did an amazing job getting food out considering how busy it was In there!
Best pasta I’ve ever had outside of Italy. Always slaps. Fresh pasta is so good and the sauces they come out with are always delicious. The Ragu is a hit but if that’s not on the menu I love the pomodoro. Big portions, can share with someone else for lunch.
Nice place for lunch. It was a bit crowded, staff was very friendly and polite. Tried garlic pasta, it tasted delicious, however price is a bit on the higher side for the over quality and atmosphere. Would recommend.
I've always heard about this place so I gave it a try. Limited menu choices but the main choice is that you get farm, ocean, or garden. The pasta is definitely fresh and ingredients are creative. 4/5 bc I feel like it could be better flavor wise. It gets busy so I recommend coming before lunch or else there won't be much seating. The spot is a little hard to find.
