Sushi was fantastic. Sashimi chefs choice was really good, but be prepared for sticker shock. Yellowtail hamachi was literally so good. Highly recommend. I’d eat an entire dinner of this if possible. Tempura oysters were not great. The tempura was too light to make the dish balanced- the oysters kept falling apart with the fry. Ambiance is definitely higher end- a great special occasion area (~100/person with apps drinks and sushi) Service was great too.

This place had been on my radar for quite some time, I finally got the chance to go, and I wasn't disappointed. Everything here was masterfully done and delicious. The restaurant itself is pleasant to be in and a great spot for a date. As I expected the prices were relatively higher than most sushi spots, but the quality of the fish and dishes were top notch and helped me forget about the price at the end of the day. The house sake was solid as well and didn't have a metallic aftertaste that many places house sake does. The service was excellent. If you get the chance to go here do it and be sure to get the seafood tempura.

What an experience! The server worked with the chef to tailor our experience.. seriously!! We had six courses of heaven and I absolutely loved every bite and every minute. I've not experienced anything like it before. It was completely evident that every piece of food had been carefully thought out so that it was perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. It's expensive, and we'll worth it!

Specialty dishes are unconventionally delicious, I like the crab roll and spicy tuna tartare in particular, one of a kind, savory but not overwhelming. We also had various nigiri, like uni, sweet shrimp, toro, etc, very fresh, tastes warm (even the seared scallop). The soy sauce is a bit too salty though.

Everything was very fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable. Had a mix of sashimi, rolls, and delicious starters like the Brussels sprouts in miso and tempura mushrooms. The 3G roll (not on the menu) was fabulous.

It is a great place to have (almost) authentic Japanese food. Everything was great. Fish was fresh and tasty - uni was good. Sake was expensive but wonderful. Service was top notch.

The food at Nishino is of the upmost quality, but their staff is even higher notch. We called very last minute in hopes of reservation for our anniversary, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Due to multiple accidents, we were about 5 minutes late, called and let them know, and when we arrived they were still super sweet. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, nigiri and sashimi were of very high quality and the shrimp dumplings were to die for. At the end of the evening we ordered desert and they brought out a small servicing on Mochi and a candle for our anniversary. We had only mentioned it once in passing on the phone, but they remembered. As we left, the hostess, chefs and servers all said goodbye and wished us a happy anniversary. We both left with huge smiles and had the most amazing time. We will be back again our next time in Seattle. ❤️

The food is as good as before. The fish is very fresh. Our kids love the udon and the California roll, and we ordered an extra one. The server is very nice and patient. It's my fourth time here and still highly recommended.

It was not cheap but food quality and service were good. The server we had was patient and answered our questions. Food came out pretty fast. What we ordered were all tasty. Calamari dish was something we did not expect. It was not deep fried but stir fried with vegetables and mushrooms. It was delicious. Highly recommend it. Nasu Dengaku was also really good. It came with Japanese cucumber pickles and sliced lotus roots. Sashimi combo was fresh! I liked that they had Oshibori at the front to wipe your hands. Nice touch. Outdoor seatings available. Ramp available for wheelchair. Off street parking available.

Best sushi in Seattle. At least that's what we think. Have been going since years. Quality levels stayed excellent during all the time. Very friendly assertive service. Sushi is authentic Japanese. No bells and whistles. Just plain fresh fish and perfect preparation. Menu changes frequently and tries to source pacific northwestern local ingredients. Highly recommend.
