I had walked by this sign a million times, but today, I needed to kill some time until a shop opened in Pike Place. So I followed the signs, up the flights of steps, to a wonderful surprise. They say that you can visit Pike Place once a month for a year and never see everything. I never knew this place was here. At the end of the hallway was this charming, personable coffeehouse that reminded me of how important it is to support independent places like this. The space was filled with leather seats and couches. A fireplace helped add a homey feel to it. The service was a bit slow to make, but that is because they bring your orders to you. They pick up your dishes and serve water, which is a nice touch. The view is part the main street of the market and a little bit of Elliott Bay. It's too bad they don't serve booze. All in all, if you're in the market, this is a VERY nice alternative to Starbucks.
Outstanding food and service, but this is the most expensive coffee shop I’ve visited. Located right by Pike Market, this store served me one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. They even offer a free gift for your first visit! My oat milk vanilla latte cost me about $10 (including tax). Added in a homemade croissant and homemade jam brought it closer to $20, not including tip. Yes, it’s expensive, but worth every cent! Coffee was so smooth. I’ve never had such great service at a coffee shop. We also happened to be there at the right time because they bro gut out a warm chocolate cake and served everyone a free piece!
I can’t wait to return!
Storyville is GORGEOUS! We ordered a goat cheese pesto breakfast sandwich and a chocolate croissant and both were to die for. The mochas are delicious too. The atmosphere in this cafe is so cozy and makes you want to stay for hours! All the servers were so lovely, and the location is incredible- right in the middle of Pike Place market.
Wow! What an incredible coffee spot. If you don’t mind a wait it’s well worth it for very rich flavorful coffee. You can even sign up for a free mug for your first visit when you wait in line. They also do a deal where if you buy a bag of roasted beans you get a free drink of choice. I had an iced cold brew and it was delicious. Such a cool seating area as well with a cool view of the market and water. We didn’t try the food but instead brought some crumpets up with us from downstairs which the staff was ok with us having.
One of the best and cozy cafe I’ve been to. The coffee was amazing and so was the hot chocolate. They have a free mug for first time visitor and generous bartender also gave us caramel cookies on the house. The view is beautiful outside the window with warm vintage lighting inside.
Best coffee I've had in the heart of Seattle! Cinnamon roll was DELICIOUS. Prices are high but justified for the location, taste, and ambiance. You also get a free mug upon first visit – be sure to ask about this deal!
Came here on a Saturday, super busy and with a line. But the rotation was smooth. 8 bux for a latte, spendier than most coffee spots, but worth the hype imo. I enjoyed the cup taking a stroll through pike place and the galleries nearby
Absolutely loved the coffee and ambience of this place. Baked goods and pastries are too good. I tried croissant and cake slice, loved them. The staff and baristas are very friendly. Loved the overall vibe. This place is on "must-go" places list in Seattle.
Great coffee and pastries in an intimate space with an overlook on the cobblestone market street. The warm frosted cinnamon roll was flaky and delicious, and the cortado was well-made and well-presented. Definitely worth taking the time to hang out and collect yourself after the bustle of the rest of the market.
Friendly staff, delicious coffee , cozy atmosphere.
We scanned the QR code and got a free mug that I love and use at home.
The sea salt caramel cookie was delicious. I had an espresso and my husband and iced coffee. Both were good and hit the spot.
