Of all the restaurants at Sea Island, Southern Tide is my favorite! Fantastic views right on the beach, extremely friendly staff & excellent menu. I've never had a better biscuit in my life & the jalapeño butter made it that much better. The pimento cheese deviled eggs are next level. Shrimp and grits are as good as they come. And the shrimp basket is shrimply amazing! Get 'em grilled, blackened or fried ... the fries are perfect!! Love this place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Southern Tide is an absolutely wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy. It is by the water with wonderful green space for children to play while parents and children can also joy fine dining. The food is excellent and the service is great!

Excellent place for fine dining! The New York Strip was the best I ever had. The views of the ocean and the beach from the open air seating were truly breath taking.

The food and service was excellent! The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The view was beautiful! Even with the cooler weather, outside dining was wonderful, especially with the view and sound of the ocean!

Excellent food. Could not beat the atmosphere of dining on the beach. Service at times was a little slow, but overall, everything was excellent.

The fried shrimp basket remains a family favorite. There are also many new healthy options on the menu. The covered “outside” area has been expanded for those who wish to eat after coming up from the pool.

Ate here ona recent visit. I had a gumbo. The view is pretty. The service was good. Meal for 2 with gratuity was +- $80

Good food though vegetarian options are very slim. But you can ask the chief to improvise something not on the menu at least. Ample room inside and outside means you can pretty much just walk in with no reservation though thet do ose somewhat early.
Generous food portions and pretty tasty at that
