The meatball sandwich for lunch is much bigger than I expect. Delicious, fresh, and hot. The boss is friendly and treat customer like their brothers and sisters. Definitely the best deli in N. Scottsdale.
Today I had an unexpectedly great experience here. We found it almost by accident and I am so happy we did. The service was good. The owner was on site and a pleasure to talk with. It is more than apparent they put much love and care into it. I had the meatball sub and it was delicious. Their selection was great, quality meats and while I didn’t try it, the deserts looked top notch. I highly recommend stopping in or grabbing something to go. You won’t be disappointed.
New York style deli. I had a small sandwich on a kaiser roll with macaroni salad, a cookie, and a drink. I really enjoyed my sandwich and I could tell that the bread they used was very fresh.
It's a little pricey for lunch imo as my lunch cost a little over $20. Like I said though I really enjoyed the food.
They have a large selection of meats, hot and cold, choose from... they also have pasta and other Italian dishes to enjoy.
Stumbled upon this gem and had a wonderful sandwich! Quality ingredients and great taste! The staff was so nice and I loved the neighborhood atmosphere. Don’t miss this hot spot the next time you are in Scottsdale!
Been coming here for years! I cannot get enough of the breakfast burritos in the morning. When I am feeling like lunch, try the Hot Pastrami or the Brisket when they have it. John, the owner, treats you like family and does everything to ensure you are satisfied with his deli. Hard to find a great place like his.
I come here often for my breakfast. Nothing special from the outside but oddly enough my one egg with a runny yolk and half crispy potatoes are the best every time. The owner is there often in the mornings and he greets me and seems to guinely care about my day and that food is right. Thank you for being kind. Please don’t change
The yummiest toasted pastrami in all the land! They also have gluten free bread which is so nice because gluten free people like pastrami sandwiches too 🥹
It also warms my heart how the owner checks in on all the customers to make sure they are happy and loving the foods. It’s refreshing to have the genuine connection and feel like someone cares like that still.
Definitely go support this small business. They deserve it and your taste buds will be happy.

That being said, cold turkey sandwich is 4yo approved.
I had the hot pastrami; which was great! Only downside was the ratio of meat compared to the bread and lettuce. Would have expected a bit more and a better distribution through the sandwich.
Clean restrooms.
Will come back again to try other items sometime in the future.
I have been going to this deli for years. The food is absolutely amazing. The best corn beef sandwich I’ve ever had. Potato salad is bomb. Very casual but absolutely delicious if you want a true New York deli.
No one knowns eclairs like I do. My grandma would always make them for my birthday because Im a special boy. But Ghat dam* this place makes the most dank eclairs ever. Ordered one, chowed that bad boy down in aprox 27 seconds. Chicken parm came, delish. Smoked that in about 4 minutes and was craving another.. you guessed it Eclair. Got another one to go and beat my previous time by 12 seconds. Great atmosphere, great food, I would literally have the owner be the god father to my children.
